Damian

Damian is the dedicated Associate Center Director at Mathnasium, bringing a passion for helping students excel in math. Damian has been with Mathnasium for a short time but has many years as an educator and businessman. He received a B.A. in education from Oakland University. He spent 20 years as a high school social studies teacher and coach before changing careers working in contract management for 20 years. 

His return to education has sparked his renewed passion for teaching while offering an understanding of what today’s workplace values in the ever-changing world.

Christina

Christina is the Lead Instructor for Mathnasium of Tallahassee and Tallahassee South! She is vibrant and compassionate in the workplace and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed. She is inspired by her desire for virtue and strives to nurture and cherish the lives of those around her.

It's as her favorite author, J.R.R Tolkien said, "It is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folks that keep darkness at bay. Small acts of kindness and love." She strives to be a light in the darkness, and to remind everyone of their endless potential.

Jodi

Jodi has a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Math from Hope College and graduated with her secondary teaching certificate. She also has a Master’s degree in Math Education and a Specialist’s degree in Curriculum and Teacher Leadership from Piedmont College. 

Jodi has been teaching for 20 years and has taught all levels from 8th grade math to IB math studies. Jodi is also a certified gifted instructor. Jodi loves to teach and tutor because she loves to see the sense of great achievement when a student grasps a difficult math concept! She also believes that every student can succeed and excel with the proper tools and support.

Lauren

Lauren graduated from the University of Central Florida with an Interdisciplinary Studies degree focused on Mathematics Education and Psychology. She has mastered math skills in the areas of College Algebra, Calculus I – Calculus III, Differential Equations, and Statistics I & II. 

Lauren developed a passion for math education during her first two years of high school, and it continued throughout her college years. She believes that math is meant to be challenging and enjoyable, not frustrating and scary. Since starting at Mathnasium in 2011, she has enjoyed the continued success of her students and inspiring them to love math as much as she does.
