Joey Larrondo

Center Director
Hey there! My name is Joey Larrondo. I've been a resident of the Greater LA area and have frequented the Torrance area since my childhood. I discovered my talent and passion for education while teaching LA youth about marine robotics. I combined this passion with my aptitude in math, and the rest is history! Let's build mathematical foundations that last a lifetime!

Jessa Banayo

Lead Instructor
I graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics. I specialized in Operations Research mostly dealing with studies regarding Bee behavior. I previously worked as a private tutor in a local tutorial service during the pre-pandemic era for 10 years where I gained experience and skills on teaching junior and senior high school students on different branches of Mathematics. My passion for teaching keeps me motivated to hone more talents and make students appreciate Mathematics.

Jomhel Agnote

I am a graduating BS Applied Mathematics student. I major in Financial Management and Actuarial Science. I started tutoring when I was in my 1st year of college, and I have been a tutor for almost 9 years. I love when I see my students improve and be independent. I am passionate in everything that I do, that includes guiding and helping my students. I love playing guitar and learning other musical instruments in my spare time.

Joshua Lee

Hello, I’m Joshua Lee. I am a junior at West High school who is currently taking AP Calculus AB. I have the privilege of being able to tutor students both at my high school and at Mathnasium. I have a passion for math and writing and plan to pursue both in college. I also enjoy exercising, playing guitar, reading, and spending time with my friends and family.

Brandon Samson

Hello, I’m Brandon Samson. I am a computer science student in my second year at CSULB. I have taken math up to Calculus 2 and I enjoy helping others learn about math. One day, I hope to become a software engineer. In my free time I enjoy playing video games and playing basketball. My favorite basketball team is the Lakers.

Ellie Choi

Hello, I’m Ellie Choi. I am currently a senior attending South High School and am taking AP Calculus BC. I intend to study chemical engineering next year and want to work at a pharmaceutical company in the future. In my free time I like to run, listen to music, crochet, and hangout with friends.

Muhammad Baig

Lead Instructor
Hi! I’m Muhammad Baig. I’m a Business major at El Camino College and currently taking Calculus 2. On campus I’m involved in the honors transfer program and honors society, and hope to transfer to the UC of my choice when I apply this fall. Outside of school and work, I enjoy writing and researching about political science and world history, playing basketball, photography, cooking, and gardening.

Kyle Tsuji

Hello, I’m Kyle Tsuji. I graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Computer Science. I plan to pursue a career in the tech industry as a software engineer. I enjoy teaching STEM subjects and helping students achieve their academic goals. In my free time, I like playing basketball and staying active!
