Miliah has always loved math and is passionate about helping students discover the joy of learning it. She enjoys making challenging concepts approachable and engaging for all skill levels.
Known for her sense of humor in the classroom, Miliah often shares math jokes to spark curiosity and lighten the learning experience. Her favorite number is 13, and she enjoys finding creative ways to show students how math connects to everyday life.
Garrett is a Physics major at the University of South Florida with a keen interest in spotting patterns and problem-solving. He enjoys helping students develop confidence and understanding in mathematics.
In addition to tutoring, Garrett loves video games and creative ways to make math memorable. His favorite number is 7, and he uses playful mnemonic devices, like “8 and 8 went to the store to buy a Nintendo 64,” to help students remember multiplication facts.
Nika enjoys supporting students in building foundational math skills and confidence. She values the Mathnasium Method for creating a structured and engaging learning environment where all students can thrive.
Her favorite number is 11, and she enjoys sharing math jokes, like “Why were the police looking for 2? They were the prime suspect!” Nika hopes to attend medical school in the future to pursue a career as a pathologist or anesthesiologist.
Wesley is a freshman at the University of South Florida majoring in Biomedical Sciences. He discovered a love for math in high school and enjoys helping students see the fun and logic behind it.
Outside of math, Wesley plays piano and enjoys movies. His favorite number is 12, and he uses humor in tutoring, including jokes like, “I hate arguing with 90-degree angles. They’re always right!” to make learning engaging.
Jessica is passionate about helping students understand and enjoy math. She believes confidence in math grows when students experience success and truly comprehend concepts.
Her favorite number is 5, and she often shares fun math jokes, such as “Which monster loves math most? Count Dracula, because he’s a vamπre!” Jessica enjoys fostering a positive and supportive environment where students can build both skills and confidence.
