Bethany A.

Education Coordinator
Mrs. Abbott joined our team as a retired Kinder-8th teacher from NISD. Her love for teaching and encouraging children to succeed in math has become the driving force in her joining our extraordinary team of instructors. Her comphrensive math understanding and expertise in education has enriched the lives of our students and staff alike. During her career she was awarded NISD Teacher of the Year, Roanoke Elementary School in 1999 and then recognized again as Teacher of the Year, Medlin Middle School in 2009. Favorite Number: 3, because it is the smallest odd prime number. There are only 3 primary colors, and with an endless combinations they bring great beauty into our world. I love Mathnasium because: The diagnostic assessment is so comphrensive that it builds a unique learning plan for intentional practice until the student achieves mastery level. The "Mathnasium Method" constructs mental relationships and make connections in increasingly sophisticated ways.
