Andrew Fisher

Owner

On a mission to take the 'fear' out of math. My job is to make sure every student loves their math experience here and develops solid Math confidence.

I have worked in Mathnasium centers for 10 years. From center director to regional director to owner, it has been quite the journey. I am an absolute math enthusiast set on fixing math's imaging problem. Math CAN be fun! I help children arrive at their own understanding of math concepts and learn how to solve for answers rather than memorize 'math facts'. That is the first building block for a lifetime of 'Math Confidence'. My favorite things in the world is the sound of a student understanding a concept: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH

Favorite Number: 72 because it's prime factorization is 2^3 * 3^2. Two three three two

Fun Fact: I'm an avid hike and occasionally camp overnight on the Appalachian trail.

Why I Love Mathnasium: I have helped 100s if not 1000s of students over my 10 years. This system works and it is a joy to go to work every day.

Cara McDaniel

Favorite Number: 7! Because 5040 is a good number.

Fun Fact: I have been playing Pokémon since it's inception.

Why I Love Mathnasium: Working with children makes my day a bit brighter.

Sawyer Judge

Instructor
I love tennis, swimming, and I certainly love math! I am currently in Calculus BC and I also was a nature counselor for three years before joining Mathnasium. Whenever I go out to eat, I like to get two full meals because I want to grow as tall as possible!

Favorite Number: My favorite number is the number 8 because it is my lucky number! It is the same number as the 8-ball, it’s super cool because when you put it on its side it is infinity, and it is a lovely even number!

Why I Love Mathnasium: I love that Mathnasium makes math fun!
