Andrew Fisher

Owner

Andrew has spent more than a decade working within Mathnasium, progressing from Center Director to Regional Director before becoming an Owner. He is deeply passionate about changing how students experience math and helping them replace fear with confidence. 

Andrew believes math should be understood, not memorized, and enjoys guiding students toward independent problem-solving. Outside of Mathnasium, he enjoys hiking and occasionally camping along the Appalachian Trail. His favorite number is 72 for its unique factorization. 

Cara McDaniel

Assistant Center Director

Cara brings creativity and dedication to her role as Assistant Center Director. She enjoys working closely with students and supporting a positive, engaging learning environment. Cara has a strong interest in games, storytelling, and creative projects, including designing a board game. 

She enjoys helping students feel more confident and comfortable with math. Outside of Mathnasium, Cara collects cards, plays games, and writes stories. Her favorite number is seven factorial, a number she finds especially satisfying. 

Marylynn Thattil

Instructor

Marylynn is a high school junior who enjoys math, art, and creative activities. She has participated in gymnastics and track and field and enjoys staying active. Marylynn likes working with students and supporting them as they learn new concepts. 

Outside of Mathnasium, she enjoys baking, creating art, and spending time with animals. Marylynn loves being part of a supportive team and helping students feel encouraged and confident as they grow in their math skills. 

Hannah Ahle

Instructor

I’m a high school student and I’ve been a dancer for 7 years

Fun Fact: I have a golden retriever named Rockey.
