Frank earned his Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from the University of Buffalo and has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Emory University and as a Research Fellow at the CDC. With more than a dozen peer-reviewed publications, Frank has applied strong math skills throughout his scientific career.
Inspired by Mathnasium’s impact on students’ lives, Frank became the owner of Mathnasium of Tucker in April 2020. He enjoys being part of a center where math makes sense to kids. Frank’s favorite number is 7, and he proudly solved the Rubik’s Cube as a teen using his own algorithm.
Sulu Jaffer holds a B.A. in Psychology with minors in Biology and Chemistry from UC San Diego. A former Hospital Corpsman in the U.S. Navy, Sulu has experience running businesses and joined Mathnasium after seeking math support for his son in 2016.
Since then, he has operated three Mathnasium centers and now leads the Sandy Springs location. Sulu is passionate about helping kids grow from early learners into confident middle schoolers. In his spare time, he trains for triathlons and enjoys high-performance driving. His favorite number is 7, and his race car number is 604.
Sheri studied Political Science and Information Systems in college and spent several years working in IT. A longtime math enthusiast, Sheri enjoys puzzles, logical thinking, and explaining technical topics in fun, accessible ways.
At Mathnasium, he brings curiosity and creativity to every session. He loves making math click for students and learning from them in return. Sheri’s favorite number is 2000, and he’s fascinated by cooking, especially decoding restaurant dishes to recreate them at home.
Cinya graduated from Tucker High School and is currently studying computer science at Georgia Tech. She has always been passionate about math and enjoys learning new concepts that stretch her understanding.
She brings that same enthusiasm to her students at Mathnasium, helping them explore math with curiosity and creativity. Her favorite number is 2, and she loves sharing fun facts like how early calculators used to fill entire rooms. Cinya believes math is everywhere, and that learning it should be fun.
Cindy is currently a junior at Tucker High School in the International Baccalaureate program with a focus on economics. She credits her current love of math to those teachers who helped her understanding of mathematics growing up.
My favorite Number: "8, because it is a lucky number in China and I was born at 8 in the morning!"
My Favorite Math Joke: "Why was the student upset that her teacher called her average? It was a 'mean' thing to say!"
Fun Fact: "I really enjoy anything to do with cars. I watch all types of motorsports races!"
"I love Mathnasium because it gives students a feeling of accomplishment and I enjoy the time getting to know them and their abilities!"
Artemis has always had a love for math, ever since she was a child. She really enjoys learning how seemingly different fields of math interact with each other. Though she is not currently in school, she plans on going back to college to study genetics.
Favorite Number: 12, it's highly composite
Fun Fact: A standard 3x3 Rubik's cube can always be solved in 20 or fewer moves.
Favorite Math Joke: Why aren't jokes funny in base 8? Because 7 10 11
I love Mathnasium, because teaching math to kids is incredibly important for general education, and I want to spread my love for math to others and encourage them to continue learning once they leave as well
Emily is currently a student at Georgia Tech pursuing a degree in Biomedical engineering. Her goal is to specialize in pediatric orthotics and prosthetics and improve the quality of life for as many people as she can.
Favorite Number: "5 because it was the day of the month I was born."
Favorite Math Joke: "Be rational i Pi Get Real"
Fun Fact: "I enjoy playing the alto saxophone"

Zayvion studied Math and Computer Science at KSU from 2022 to 2026, helping out in the tutoring center for the last few semesters. He's always deeply enjoyed and thoroughly excelled at math.
Favorite Number: "Pi, because it's irrational and non-repeating and I find that endlessly fascinating."
Favorite Math Joke: "Did you hear about the over-educated circle? It has 360 degrees!"
Fun Fact: "I can unicycle and juggle at the same time."
