Shreya

Owner

Shreya is the Owner of Mathnasium of Union City. Prior to opening the Mathnasium center with her husband, she worked in non-profit, fintech and consulting space. She has a MS in Business Analytics from University of Texas at Austin and BS in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT). Being a lifetime lover of math, Shreya is enthusiastic about helping every child in the community to truly understand math by teaching it in the way that makes sense to them. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Maria Rosa

Center Director

Maria is a retired bilingual elementary teacher with a passion for Math and Science. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in Physical Education and minors in Business Administration and Spanish. She enjoys working with children and seeing them flourish. In her spare time she enjoys sports, traveling with family and friends and spending time with her family and furry friends.

Mi Na

Assistant Center Director

Mi Na is a computer engineer by background and has tutored her 2 kids from K-12. She has excellent math skills and loves teaching young kids those skills. She is highly proficient in higher level math of Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry and Calculus. She is also bilingual with English and Chinese.

Izabella

Assistant Center Director

Izabella (Bella) is the lead instructor at Mathnasium of Union City. She is also a visual merchandiser with a BA in Fashion Merchandising and a minor in Arts Management. Mathematics has always been her favorite and best subject to learn and teach. She has an extensive tutoring background with all ages and grade levels and loves seeing the kids get more confident at Mathnasium.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
