Randy Ner
My name is Randy Ner. I have a degree in Computer Science and Organizational Leadership from Chapman University. With over10+ years of teaching math and as a Mathnasium owner, I have produced many mathletes to achieve high marks in math. Some of these mathletes as they matured have become instrumental in enriching our new mathletes in math as team members (Please stop by and check out our Mathlete Success Board). I love that my former mathletes and math coaches continue to engage me for insights. Inciting mathletes to recognize that math is not just numbers is an art. Math is a powerful tool to make informed decisions. I love offering these mathletes to develop the keen sense of awareness of what math can do for them. I say, application, application, and applications. A father of two, who are both a product of Mathnasium as mathletes. A soccer coach who loves to use math in his coaching methods winning championships. In music, unfortunately, my arms are too big to play the guitar. Following my teachings, I still tried guitar. With math, there is no other choice. It is now and in the future. Let's get it done! I enjoy mountain biking, skydiving, scuba diving, kayaking, hiking, outrigger canoing, sailing, fishing, surfing, body boarding, experience eating, and almost any other activities. All students begin their Mathnasium journey with a diagnostic assessment that pinpoints what they already know and what they still need to learn.
Using assessment-based insights, we will create a personalized learning plan for each student. Our detailed plan takes students step-by-step from where they are to where they need to go.
Once their personalized learning plan is ready and the pace of weekly math sessions established, students can start working with their math tutor in-center or by logging into live online sessions with them.

If a student is struggling or simply looking to keep up in their math class, Mathnasium will build upon what they already know, addressing their learning gaps and teaching math in a way that makes sense to them.
Mathnasium provides premium value by combining a superior learning experience with an efficient structure that keeps costs low. There is a flat enrollment fee for our program, and students attend regularly—much like a gym membership. We recommend that they attend Mathnasium 2-3 times per week as attending less frequently will slow results and attending too often could lead to student burnout. No. All learning occurs under the efficient and effective guidance of our trained instructors. Adding homework would risk frustration and overload. In fact, we'll set aside some time each session to help your student with their school homework.
