Educational Director
Beau Schwantes serves as the Educational Director of Mathnasium of Upper West Side. A graduate of Kent State University with a BS in aeronautical studies, Beau joined Mathnasium in 2017 as an instructor and was promoted to management the following year. By 2019, his dedication and talent earned him the role of Educational Director.
Beau loves the supportive and engaging atmosphere Mathnasium fosters and takes pride in guiding students toward success. He enjoys working with children, helping them build skills, and supporting their unique learning needs with patience and care.
Tim Swain
Director
Tim Swain is the Director of Mathnasium of Upper West Side and oversees operations across Mathnasium of Manhattan & Affiliates. With degrees in pre-medicine and dramatic art from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Tim was the first instructor at the Upper East Side center, quickly rising through leadership roles.
The son of two teachers, Tim brings over 20 years of experience working with children in education and enrichment. Known for his energy and charisma, he has helped countless students strengthen their math skills and confidence, and he continues to inspire families in the Upper West Side community.
