Lupe graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. She joined Mathnasium to help students grow both academically and socially, creating a learning environment that is safe, supportive, and filled with encouragement.
She is passionate about helping students become confident math learners who enjoy the learning process. Outside of Mathnasium, Lupe enjoys spending time at the beach, reading, and hanging out with her dogs and turtle.
Nick holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Finance from Cal State Northridge. Since joining Mathnasium in 2014, he has served as Center Director in multiple locations including Irvine, Diamond Bar, and Phoenix before returning to serve his hometown of Santa Clarita.
Nick is passionate about fostering a caring environment where students can grow their confidence and conquer math challenges. He enjoys coaching, mentoring, and encouraging students to work hard and reach their full potential. Outside of work, he enjoys sports, snowboarding, barbecuing, and competing in just about any game.
Sherin graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics. She began her journey with Mathnasium as an instructor in 2021 and quickly advanced to Assistant Director, helping launch Mathnasium of Valencia.
Sherin is driven by a desire to make a positive impact in her community and help students excel in math. She believes in building welcoming spaces where every student feels seen and supported. In her free time, Sherin enjoys spending time with her family, cooking new recipes, and shopping.
Enoch is soon to graduate from College of the Canyons, studying nursing with plans to become a nurse anesthetist. He loves helping kids understand math concepts and watching their excitement when a difficult idea finally clicks.
Outside of school and work, Enoch enjoys longboarding, playing basketball, jamming on his drum set, listening to music, and enjoying milkshakes with friends.
Vaibhav is a freshman at college pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Math has always been a subject he has enjoyed and he wishes to help kids who are struggling in math. He loves to see people push themselves to thrive and become better than they already were. In his free time, Vaibhav loves to watch sports, spend time with friends, and listen to music.
Alex has degrees in architecture and animation. He especially enjoys the intersection of arts and sciences, has worked in a variety of educational environments and is excited to bring his past experiences to the mathnasium community. Outside of work he likes to make comics, take super long walks, cook for people and build things that others find useful.
Bianca is a senior at West Ranch High School and plans to attend a four-year college to pursue a career in pharmacy. Math has always been her favorite subject, and she enjoys working with children. She is excited to continue learning mathematics while helping students build confidence and discover that math can be fun and enjoyable. In her free time, she enjoys playing the guitar, working out, spending time with friends, and listening to music.
Anabelle is a senior at Valencia High School, where she participates in theater and other performing arts. In the future, she hopes to attend a UC and earn a degree in Psychology or Communications. Anabelle enjoys working with kids and especially loves seeing their growth. She has always taken part in advanced math courses and is glad to share her knowledge with other students. In her free time, Anabelle likes to listen to music, spend time with friends, and play with her rabbit.
Hi, I'm Brooke! Math has always been my favorite subject in school, so I'm excited to help kids have fun learning it. I played softball for 13 years and enjoy playing Minecraft in my free time.
Edward is a sophomore at College of the Canyons, studying biology and hoping to pursue a career in a medical laboratory setting. He has always enjoyed not only math but also teaching others about topics that may be challenging for them. Edward is also extremely cooperative with kids and always finds a way to connect with them. In his free time, Edward enjoys playing the piano, tennis, pickleball, and video games.
McKenna is a senior at West Ranch High School and plans to attend a four-year college for her undergraduate degree before attending law school to pursue a degree in International Law. She joined the Mathnasium team because she understands what it’s like to lack confidence in school and how important it is to have someone who encourages you to develop and believe in your skills as a math learner. She hopes to be a positive light for kids who, like she once experienced, may need a little extra guidance or encouragement. She wants to play a role in helping ensure that fewer children feel as though they aren’t good enough when it comes to learning. In her free time, McKenna enjoys playing basketball, listening to music, watching movies, and spending time with her loved ones.
