Crystal

Instructor
I am currently a student at Cabrillo College. When I'm not at Mathnasium, I like to spend time in nature with friends, playing video games, making art, and working on coding projects. A fun fact about me is I love styling my own hair. I've cut and dyed it myself since I was 16. My favorite number is 7 because I love prime numbers. My favorite math topic is algebra. My favorite math joke: How do you make 7 even? Subtract the s! In 5 years I will be a software engineer.

Zoe

Instructor
I am currently a student at Foothill Technology High School. When I'm not at Mathnasium, I like to bake and crochet. A fun fact about me is I once did over 300 hops in a row on a pogo stick. My favorite number is 9 because I love multiplying with it using cool tricks! My favorite math topic is calculus. My favorite math joke: I saw my math teacher with a piece of graph paper yesterday. She must be plotting something! In 5 years I will be graduating college with a STEM degree.

Danica

Instructor
Currently a student at California State University, I find joy in unraveling the mysteries of trigonometry, with 52 as my favorite number. At Mathnasium, witnessing the moment a struggling student grasps a challenging concept brings me immense satisfaction.

Bri

Instructor
My favorite number is 9, and I find joy in exploring various math topics. What I love most about Mathnasium is witnessing students grasp new strategies and concepts. It's rewarding to see them progress through personalized curriculums tailored to their individual needs.

Geeta Singh

Owner/Director of Operations
Geeta is the owner at Mathnasium of Ventura. Prior to opening her Mathnasium center. She has worked with developing, implementing and managing technology to meet people's needs for over 15 years. Much of her career has been spent consulting for private and public companies on their use of technology. Because STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) is now at the forefront of education policy and curriculum, Geeta recognizes that math education will impact all areas of science and technology as well as business and government. The study of math enables a powerful, universal thought process that not only helps individuals to identify and analyze problems, but also provides them with the tools needed to find solutions and make sound decisions. Her interest in Mathnasium is to help the next generation build a solid foundation. Learning math effectively enhances brain and cognitive development in young children and adolescents — providing a quality educational experience will greatly impact the rest of their lives. Whether a child will be a doctor, teacher, engineer or construction worker, he or she needs a minimum level of math skills. It is possible for kids to learn not only to not hate math but to learn to love and appreciate it and be able to use it effectively as a tool throughout their entire lives.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
