Grier has been with the Mathnasium Team since January of 2020, starting as an instructor and eventually being promoted to Center Director in July of 2022. Originally from Jacksonville, she studied professional education at the University of North Florida and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies. She believes that all children should have access to the resources they need in order to succeed and that a strong foundation in math sets students up for success in their future endeavors. She is excited to share her love of math and provide a safe and welcoming learning environment for all students. Grier looks forward to meeting you!
Jodi has a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Math from Hope College. She graduated with her secondary teaching certificate. She also has a Master’s degree in Math Education and a Specialist’s degree in Curriculum and Teacher Leadership from Piedmont College. Jodi has been teaching for twenty years, and she has taught all levels from eigth grade math to IB math studies. Jodi is also a certified gifted instructor. Jodi loves to teach and tutor because she loves to see the sense of great achievement when a student grasps a difficult math concept! She also believes every student can succeed and excel with proper tools and support.
