Reshma Maredia

Center Director

Reshma Maredia is the Center Director at Mathnasium of Villages of Westcreek. She has a MS in Biology and a BBA in Information systems from University of Texas at San Antonio. Prior to opening the Mathnasium center, she taught JAVA programming language at the Investment society of UTSA. Since programming requires thorough understanding of math principles, she discovered that her students struggled with math concepts. She believes if taught in a right way, every child can be great at math. After learning more about Mathnasium's fun and effective way of teaching math, she is now committed to bringing the Mathnasium Method to the children in her community.

Assistant Center Director

I am a graduate of the University of Connecticut, where I earned my Bachelors in Economics. I have tutored topics ranging from grammar and spelling to Pre-Calc and Sat Prep. I love to cook and I am on a quest to perfect my rice recipe.

Favorite Math Joke: Why is 6 afraid of 7? Because 7, 8, 9.

Favorite Math Topic: Algebra

Hobbies: Cooking, Videos Games, Nature Walks

Fun Fact: I can move my ears up and down

I am a college student at the University of Texas at San Antonio, getting a BS in Mathematics in Teaching with a teaching certificate, studying to become a secondary education math teacher. I'm born and raised here in San Antonio. My dream is to make math make sense for as many people as I can.

math joke: I've decided to become a math teacher but I'm only going to teach subtraction. I just want to make a difference.

Hobbies: Playing with my dogs, hanging out with friends, and going shopping.

I am a student at Northwest Vista Community college. This Spring will be transferring to UTSA to pursue a dual degree in finance and economics. My favorite past time is exercising and I love fantasy series such as Star Wars.

Math joke: I saw my math teacher with graphing paper… I think he is plotting something.

Hobbies: weightlifting/running, reading , and napping

Fun fact: I am going to be the first in my family to graduate from college.
