Jonathan Vincent is an experienced educator and nonprofit leader with a strong foundation in literacy and organizational management. He holds a master’s degree in Elementary Reading and Literacy, as well as a second master’s in Nonprofit Management. Fluent in Portuguese, Yiddish, and Ladino, Jonathan brings a culturally responsive approach to his work.
Over the years, he has served in the nonprofit sector as an Education Director and Compliance Coordinator, in addition to many years as both a classroom teacher and teacher in charge. His diverse experience reflects a deep commitment to student success and program excellence.
Jonathan lives in Rhode Island with his wife, their son, and four rescue cats. He is excited to bring his expertise and passion for education to support and grow the Math Learning Center.
Aaron is a senior at Walpole High School who enjoys helping students gain confidence in their math skills while having fun in the process. He believes that using a relatable and patient approach to teaching can help each student grow into the best students that they can be.
When he’s not at Mathnasium, Aaron enjoys swimming, playing the flute, and trying new things.
Aneesa is a student at Montrose School who enjoys helping students feel more comfortable with math. She believes that with patience and encouragement, anyone can find math fun and rewarding.
When she’s not at Mathnasium, Aneesa enjoys soccer, STEM, and exploring the outdoors.
Dan is a junior at Walpole High School with a strong passion for math and teaching. He loves breaking down challenging concepts and supporting students as they build confidence in their math skills. Dan plans to pursue engineering in college and participates in both the Math Team and Science Olympiad at Walpole High. In his free time, he enjoys playing on his high school soccer team.
Emily is a sophomore in high school with a lifelong passion for math. She hopes to foster that same enjoyment in her students by helping them improve their math skills and build confidence in their abilities.
In her free time, Emily likes to draw, read, and write.
Helen is a sophomore at the Winsor School in Boston. She enjoys watching kids grow and develop their math skills. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with her friends and playing field hockey. Helen is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese. She is super excited to join the Mathnasium team and help students grow in confidence!
Reyansh is junior at Mansfield high school. He is on the robotics and math team at his school. When not teaching math and studying he enjoys tennis and soccer. He is fluent in Hindi.
Somak holds a master’s degree in Biotechnology and Engineering. He previously worked at Northeastern University, as a computational biologist applying statistics and computing to biological questions. He has taught at the university level and supported his daughter’s math learning from her early years through middle school, including preparation for math competitions. In his free time, Somak enjoys photography, particularly capturing sweeping views with his special panoramic cameras.
Thomas earned his Associate degree in Computer Science from MassBay Community College. As a former IEP student in Walpole Public Schools, he understands learning challenges and values Mathnasium’s individualized approach to instruction.
He joined the team in 2021 and enjoys helping students build confidence in math.
Meet Deirdre and Saba, a dynamic duo from Walpole with 15 years of experience each in the finance industry. These self-proclaimed math nerds are passionate about sharing their love of mathematics with young learners. As proud parents to one son and two energetic dogs, they understand the importance of fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment. Deirdre and Saba are thrilled to join the Mathnasium team, where they aim to help your child not only excel in math but also develop confidence and enthusiasm for the subject. Together, they’re committed to making math fun and accessible for every student!
