For students who are not able to attend their sessions in our center, Mathnasium is offering our LIVE online instruction, Mathnasium@home. This face-to-face, real-time interactive instruction is done with the same instructors students work with at the center. Students talk to their instructors who can view their work (on digital worksheets) in real time and teach them their math-all through the on-line classroom. This on-line program, just like our in-center instruction, includes a combination of Mathnasium materials and homework help. See this short video introduction.
Hardware requirements at the student’s end include a good internet connection, a laptop/PC/Mac (preferably with headphones and webcam) and a mouse. This system is safe, secure, can be done from the convenience of your home and there are NO additional costs whatsoever to you (your monthly Mathnasium fee covers it.)
We are launching this system in the Fauquier and Culpeper County areas beginning Wednesday, April 1. If you are already a member and have signed up for Mathnasium@home, you can schedule sessions from the same link you use to schedule sessions in-center, or on our website. Currently, sessions will be available between 9:00 am - 12:00 pm or 1:00 - 4:00 pm on weekdays.
