This week at summer camp we discussed and explored health and wellness! Students built model lungs like the one pictured below, and explored how germs spread through the study of how air flows in and out of the human body in the form of oxygen or carbon dioxide. Students also explored the phenomena of cause and effect by doing a domino-like activity, to better understand how one small change can affect a whole line of dominoes. What better time than now to examine the relationship between math and our experiences with corona!

We discussed the importance of washing our hands and covering our sneezes and coughs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NoxdS4eXy18
We discussed cause and effect and used dominio-building as the application. See this domino video: Life is a DOMINO Effect
