Sean Sarkar

Instructor
Shaan is a mathematics instructor at Mathnasium of West Caldwell who also works as a software engineer. He holds a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering. Shaan has had a love of math from a very young age and is passionate about tutoring. He has had experience tutoring SAT, GRE, and K-12 math. He especially likes to tutor SAT topics and would love to help your child work toward acheiving a desired score. Aside from math and coding, Shaan enjoys boxing, football, and cooking.

Connor

Instructor
Connor is a graduating high school senior with a passion for teaching math, particularly to younger elementary aged students. He is also a peer tutor at his school, using that environment to also help students learn both math and science. Connor is the vice president of his class, using his leadership skills in addition to his teaching skills. He is passionate about reading, track and cross country, volunteering and "learning advanced topics." Connor is very involved in the Caldwell community outside of school and our Mathnasium learning center.

Steven P.

Instructor
Steven received a BS in Applied Math from Stevens Institute of Technology, as well as a MS in Computer Science from New York University and a second MS in Applied Math from Stevens. Steven spent 27 years working in the Computer Science/Graphics field as well as working for 13 years as a Math Teacher at Lodi High School. For the last 15 years, Seven has tutored all high school math subjects, as well as SAT and ACT Preparation. Steven also published, "SAT Math Handbook of Tricks and Strategies." Steven is technically currently retired, although he stays busy enjoying his life's work through tutoring! He enjoys reading and watching television.

Lucas Sabol

Instructor
Lucas, a mathematics major and sophomore at Georgia Tech, is passionate about making math accessible and enjoyable for students of all levels. In high school, he participated in the Ross Mathematics Program, an intensive summer program that emphasizes mathematical exploration. Lucas also held leadership roles as an officer in Math League and as president of his school's chapter of the Math National Honor Society. Beyond academics and tutoring, Lucas enjoys playing the piano, dabbling in genealogical research, and biking.
