An Interview With June Student Of The Month Kanika

Kanika is our Student of the Month for the month of May! I sat down with Kanika and asked her a few questions to learn about her experience with Mathnasium.

Q: What did you accomplish to become student of the month?

I think doing a lot of the Mathnasium lessons made me accomplish becoming student of the month.

Q: What goals do you have for math?

Being good at doing mental math quickly.

Q: What is your favorite thing about Mathnasium?

My favoritye thing about Mathnasium is doing the lessons and getts stars for it.

Q: What activities do you participate in? (Sports, after school activities, chorus, etc.)

I participate in dancing.

Q: What would you tell someone who is thinking about coming to Mathnasium?

I would tell them it is a fun place and you would be really good at math after coming in here.

Every month, a student from Mathnasium is chosen as our student of the month. Students must attend all or most of their monthly sessions, complete multiple mastery checks, and earns a 3 for their mathlete score for a majority of their sessions! The student of the month will earn 1 free prize from our rewards cabinet, a student of the month badge which means all students in the center earn an extra star for each page they complete, a certificate, and an interview to be posted on our blog/our social media pages.
