Joshua Nordenbrook

Center Director
Josh loves teaching math and making a positive impact on the lives of those around him. He holds a degree in Business Administration and has a passion for working with kids. Before becoming the Center Director of Mathnasium of Westchase, Josh served as Lead Instructor and Assistant Center Manager at Mathnasium's Countryside location. Josh's mission is to create confidence in others by spreading the love of math. Additionally, he directs middle and high school theater at a local private school. In his free time, he enjoys playing the piano, going to the gym, and visiting theme parks. He also loves roller coasters and runs a successful YouTube channel dedicated to theme parks.

Michelle

Instructor
Michelle teaches AP Pre-Calculus class at Alonso High School. She is passionate about teaching and loves helping high schoolers gain confidence through higher-level mathematics. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family!

David Gladon

Instructor
David has a Bachelors degree in psychology from the University of South Florida and previously was employed as an In-class tutor for Pinellas County Public Schools. He enjoys working at Mathnasium because he likes seeing how different students think. In his free time David can be found playing board games, spending time with his family, and solving sudoku and logic puzzles. Currently David is teaching himself how to code. One fun fact about David is that he loves telling dad jokes!

John

Instructor
John attended Tulane University on a Navy ROTC scholarship. He graduated with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering. He then served five years in the Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer onboard a destroyer and an aircraft carrier. He spent two years at University of Illinois at Springfield earning his Illinois teaching certificate in physics and math. John taught high school physics for fifteen years. He still has an active Florida teaching certificate in math, physics and engineering and technology education. Fun Facts: He lives in New Tampa with his wife Sonya and shih-poo (shih tzu miniature poodle) Coco. He makes frequent visits to Busch Gardens and Sea World. John likes sci-fi movies, tv shows and books (especially Star Wars). John works at Mathnasium because he wants to teach students math and physics!

Kiera

Instructor
Kiera has a degree in Biology from the University of South Florida. While at USF, Kiera worked as an in-class TA for College Calculus. Her favorite types of math to teach are calculus and precalculus. One fun fact about Kiera is that she is attending medical school to become a pharmacist! Soon she will be known at Mathnasium as Dr. Kiera!

Miss Sue

Instructor
Ms. Sue is a STEM teacher at St. John Episcopal Parish Day School. She supports students in the middle division and has a passion for teaching. Ms. Sue previously taught 3rd and 4th grade at Berkeley Preparatory School for 18 years! In her free time, she enjoys cycling, reading, and most importantly, math!

Mr. Price

Instructor
Mr. Price is a student at the University of South Florida! He is pursuing a degree in Business. Math has always been his favorite subject. He is a big fan of sports and played on his high school's football team all four years of high school. Mr Price works at Mathnasium because he wants to give back to the community and help others understand math.

Nicholas

Nicholas Is a student at Saint Petersburg College.

Ashley Turner

Instructor
Ashley is a student at The University of South Florida studying Political Science. She loves math and helping students understand difficult topics. She is an avid Golf enthusiast and is an all-around athlete.

Alba

Instructor
Alba is a high school senior who loves math and who has already completed math through AP Calculus BC. She earned a perfect Math SAT score as an 11th grader. She has a bubbly personality and enjoys working with kids. When not working or studying, she enjoys time with friends and family. She works at Mathnasium because she wants to help students grow in math!

Rohit

Instructor
Rohit previously attended Mathnasium and had completed all Mathnasium Programs, including Pre-Calculus, our SAT and ACT preparation program, and Trigonometry all before he began High School! Fun Fact: I was born in Cincinnati but moved here when I was 4 years old. I choose to work at Mathnasium because I am very passionate about math and enjoy helping others build a deeper understanding.

Saanvi

Instructor
Saanvi attends Hillsborough High School. She is a previous student at Mathnasium and has mastered our curriculum! She does dance and music and is a part of many after-school clubs including Tennis. Saanvi works at Mathnasium because she loves helping students gain confidence and skills in math. One Fun Fact about Saanvi is that she has a pet Tarantula Spider!

Krish

Instructor
Krish enjoys listening to music and doing math. He is a drummer and bassist in a band outside of school and plays tennis. Krish has attended numerous Mua Alpha Theta math competitions, winning individual and team placements! I work at Mathnasium because I was previously a student, ever since the age of 5, and I finished all of Mathnasium's curriculum. I think that it is my responsibility to share and give back the knowledge that I have gained through my years here.

Katerina

Online Instructor
Katerina is a computer science major at the University of South Florida. She has lived in Florida her whole life so she loves to be in her hammock and go outdoors! She has always had an interest in any math area, especially statistics. In her free time, she loves to paint and travel, especially to Greece. That is where her family is from. One Fun Fact: Katerina's favorite animal is a hippo! Katerina works at Mathnasium because she likes working with kids and helping them improve their confidence in math!

Taylor recently moved back on campus at Florida State University.
