Mathnasium of Westchase is excited to announce that we are hosting the Annual Math Kangaroo USA Math Competition at our center!
The information below outlines the basics of the annual competition.
Competition date: March 21, 2024
Student registration deadline: December 15, 2023
What is the Competition?
75 Minute multiple choice test
24 Questions for students in grades 1 to 4
30 Questions for students in grades 5 to 12
How much does it cost?
Registration fee per student: $21
This fee is paid by parents and is paid directly through Math Kangaroo USA
What will Mathnasium do to prepare kids for the Competition?
Mathnasium of Westchase receives free prep material with teacher and student editions, so we can help prepare your child for the competition through our regular membership! Current Mathnasium members can use 30 minutes of their hour long session to practice using the test prep material.
Are there prizes or rewards for students who compete?
We receive T-shirts, toys, and postcards for all participants!
Prizes are given to students after the competition is complete
We receive medals, ribbons, awards, and certificates for winners after the competition!
Winners will be notified and will come to the center to pick up their award
What can we do at home to prepare our child for the Competition?
Students are given free access to sample questions and full sets of video questions and solutions!
