Jack is dedicated to ensuring that every student at Mathnasium has an effective, engaging, and encouraging learning experience. He strives to create a space where students ignite their natural curiosity and reach their academic goals. By selecting passionate, highly trained instructors and fostering a supportive learning environment, he helps students build confidence and strengthen their critical math skills.
Jack believes that with the right tools and support, every student can develop a deep understanding of math, regardless of their starting point.
After retiring from a career in IT at Vanguard, Carol joined Mathnasium in 2019, returning to her roots in math education. She holds a Master’s in Math Education and has taught elementary, middle school, and even college algebra.
Carol loves seeing students have their “aha!” moments when math concepts finally click. She finds the Mathnasium program highly effective for all ages and enjoys helping students build confidence in their math skills. Outside of teaching, she cherishes the opportunity to inspire a deeper understanding of math in her students.
Josie is a Computer Science student at West Chester University who has always loved math and problem-solving. At Mathnasium, she enjoys sharing that passion with students and helping them overcome challenges. She finds it especially rewarding when a student grasps a new concept or masters a difficult problem.
In her free time, Josie enjoys reading, playing video games, and drawing. She is excited to support students in developing their math skills and confidence.
Jake is a master’s student in Philosophy at West Chester University, where he also assists undergraduate students with their studies. He enjoys helping students think through challenging math concepts and guiding them toward new insights. His goal at Mathnasium is to make learning engaging and rewarding, ensuring students leave each session with greater confidence and enthusiasm.
Outside of teaching, Jake enjoys playing video games and creating digital illustrations. He is passionate about fostering a positive learning environment where students feel excited to explore and understand math.
