Margaret Pifer
Center Director
Margaret has enjoyed seeking out opportunities to make math more understandable to students since her sophomore year of high school. She has six years of experience teaching all levels of high school math, most recently in the Parkway School District. Margaret is thrilled to officially join the Mathnasium Team full time this school year.
Margaret started as an Instructor at Mathnasium in 2015. In between school years, Margaret spent her summer vacations working at Mathnasium. Margaret’s years in the classroom emphasized to her the importance of building relationships with her students, and making sure every student understands the “why” behind mathematical processes. She understands that everyone has different learning styles, and she specializes in finding the method that works best for each student.
Margaret graduated with a B.A. in Mathematics from Truman State University before earning her teaching certification in 9-12 Mathematics from UMSL.

Mathnasium provides premium value by combining a superior learning experience with an efficient structure that keeps costs low. There is a flat enrollment fee for our program, and students attend regularly—much like a gym membership. We recommend that they attend Mathnasium 2-3 times per week as attending less frequently will slow results and attending too often could lead to student burnout. Pricing varies by program and geographic area. Contact our center for more details on enrollment packages.
