Jennifer S.

Instructor
Jennifer grew up in southern Michigan and received her Bachelor in Christian Education from Biblical Life College and Seminary. After teaching mathematics at a private school in Vermont for 13 years, she spent 18 years teaching mathematics and career/college preparation at international Christian schools in South Korea and China. Jennifer returned to the states in the summer of 2018 and settled in the Knoxville area that fall. She has always enjoyed mathematics and working with students of all ages. She especially enjoys helping students who struggle with math discover ways to overcome those struggles and discover that math can be fun!

Audrey F.

Instructor
Audrey was born in Knoxville and grew up with two younger siblings. She is currently taking AP Calculus AB/BC in high school. She enjoys science and math and intends to major in biochemistry in college. Audrey also enjoys reading, hiking, cooking and traveling. She enjoys the quote, "Mistakes allow thinking to happen."

Lalitha T.

Instructor
Lalitha was born in Knoxville and has grown up in Knoxville with her younger brother. She is currently a junior in high school and wants to major in genetics with a pre-med concentration in the hopes of becoming a doctor. She has been playing violin for 13 years, and she worked at Oak Ridge National Laboratory over the summer in the Bio-science division. For fun, Lalitha enjoys cooking and baking new things for her family. One of Lalitha's favorite math quotes is, "Math is the only place where someone can buy 64 watermelons and no one asks why."

Vaishnavi T.

Instructor
Vaishnavi was born in Knoxville and has lived here her entire life along with her two parents and older sister. She is a junior in high school and loves to debate in clubs as well as take part in Mu Alpha Theta at school. She loves reading and hanging out with friends on the weekend. Vaishnavi is hoping to major in Business in college and aspires to be a lawyer. Her favorite math quote is, "Math is a journey, not a destination."

Grace F.

Instructor
Grace was born in Worcester, Massachusetts but moved to Knoxville at a young age. She is a junior in high school, and enjoys playing tennis and programming. She believes integral signs should be always be written top to bottom and that people should stop hating on JavaScript as a coding language. "I guess you could say math has become a very integral part of my life."

Harper R.

Instructor
Harper was born and raised in Knoxville and is currently a student at FHS. Her interests include coding and bridge. She won her first bridge tournament when she was 10 years-old and has continued playing ever since. She plans to major in computer science in college. In her spare time, she loves hanging out with friends, listening to music, and reading.
