Dr. Kevin Kessler
Kevin Kessler, Ed.D., completed his Doctorate in Educational Leadership with his dissertation on the "Strategies Used by Effective Transformational Educational Leaders to Overcome Barriers to Implementing and Sustaining Blended Learning in Public Schools". He has been the Director of Operations for 3 Mathnasiums in the Austin area since 2022. He was formerly a Johns Hopkins University Senior Advisor to doctoral students in the School of Education Ed.D. program, Fellow Researcher for Michigan Virtual Learning & Research Institute, Facilitator & Course Reviewer for Quality Matters, and Editor & Chair of eLearn Magazine’s K-12 Blended & Online Learning. Dr. Kessler previously served as the Head of School for A+ World Academy, Assistant Director of seven Polk Acceleration Academies, and Principal of an international school in Tokyo, Japan prior to 13 years of teaching face-to-face, blended, and online in both maths and sciences. Dr. Kessler’s broad range of experiences give him a unique insight into the needs of students who are both struggling and advanced as well as provides him a wealth of techniques to serve the needs of all students.

Mathnasium provides premium value by combining a superior learning experience with an efficient structure that keeps costs low. There is a flat enrollment fee for our program, and students attend regularly—much like a gym membership. We recommend that they attend Mathnasium 2-3 times per week as attending less frequently will slow results and attending too often could lead to student burnout.
