Owner
Brendan is the Owner of Mathnasium of Westwood-River Vale. He graduated from Don Bosco Prep and earned a degree in Organizational Psychology from The College of New Jersey. With a background in small business and startup management, Brendan brings both leadership and heart to the center.
His love for math began with an early fascination with baseball statistics. Brendan believes every student has the potential to succeed and is passionate about building personalized learning plans that improve skills and confidence.
Eli
Lead Instructor
Eli is a junior at Montclair State University majoring in Computer Science and has worked at Mathnasium since high school. He brings a passion for both math and mentorship, making him a strong leader and role model at the center.
He enjoys getting to know students personally and helping them grow in both skills and confidence. Outside of Mathnasium, Eli recharges through video games and music and loves seeing his students thrive every day.
Philip
Instructor
Philip is a senior at Pascack Valley High School and has loved math from a young age. His favorite branch of math is statistics—he enjoys analyzing data, reading polls, and understanding what the numbers mean.
At Mathnasium, Philip enjoys helping students discover how math connects to everyday life and watching them build their confidence.

Joe is a senior at Pascack Valley High School and is currently taking Calculus 3. He has been an instructor at Mathnasium for two years and loves helping others find joy in math.

No matter how students choose to attend, they will receive personalized, face-to-face instruction from the same specially trained tutors in a supportive and engaging group environment designed to help them thrive.
No. Students who choose online instruction receive the same customized learning plans and live, face-to-face instruction from the same caring tutors they would meet in person at our learning center.
We provide math tutoring for students in grades K–12 across a wide range of topics, from early childhood math and arithmetic to Algebra and Geometry.
Using the Mathnasium Method™, our specially trained tutors help students close knowledge gaps, improve problem-solving skills, and build strong foundations that lead to long-term academic growth.
We offer math-only tutoring through a monthly membership structure with no long-term contracts. Most students attend 2–3 sessions per week. A free assessment helps determine the right plan for your child.
