David is the Center Director at Mathnasium of Winchester and brings a strong academic and leadership background to his role. Originally from Acton, he studied Political Science and Spanish at Tufts University, where he also served as a teaching assistant in the Physics department. He recently completed six months of director training at Mathnasium of Newton and has experience as an instructor at a debate camp, where he supported students in building confidence and critical-thinking skills.
David is passionate about helping students develop a true understanding of math in a supportive environment. Outside the center, he enjoys playing basketball and staying active in his community.
Julie serves as Director of Operations with a passion for helping students discover that math is both understandable and rewarding. She previously supported Mathnasium students as an Education Director and, after earning her master’s degree, returned to continue strengthening programs, mentoring instructors, and creating positive learning experiences for families.
She loves seeing the lightbulb moment when a concept clicks and a student’s confidence grows. Outside of Mathnasium, Julie enjoys building community connections and finding everyday examples that show how math appears in the world around us.
Scott is the General Manager at Mathnasium of Winchester MA, bringing more than a decade of experience teaching and tutoring students from elementary school through college. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and a master’s degree from New York University, combining strong academic preparation with a genuine enthusiasm for helping learners succeed.
His favorite part of teaching math is building a clear conceptual framework and watching the moment everything starts to make sense. Outside the center, Scott enjoys reading, exploring new ideas, and spending time with family and friends.
