Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Jodi

Director of Education

Jodi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Math from Hope College, as well as a Master’s degree in Math Education and a Specialist’s degree in Curriculum and Teacher Leadership from Piedmont College. She also earned her secondary teaching certificate and is a certified gifted instructor.

With over 20 years of classroom experience, Jodi has taught everything from 8th grade math to IB math studies. She believes every student can succeed with the right tools and support, and she loves watching students experience the “ah-ha” moment when a concept clicks.

Lauren

Director of Training

Lauren earned her degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Central Florida, focusing on Math Education and Psychology. She has extensive experience in advanced math, including calculus, differential equations, and statistics.

Since joining Mathnasium in 2011, Lauren has been dedicated to helping students succeed and training instructors to deliver engaging lessons. She believes math should be empowering, not intimidating, and loves seeing students develop confidence in their skills.

Toyin

Associate Center Director

After graduating from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Psychology, Toyin went on to build a career in leadership roles with companies including Walgreens, Apple, and FanDuel. Much of his work focused on developing teams, mentoring employees, and creating environments where people could succeed.

Now at Mathnasium, he’s excited to apply that same people-focused approach to working with students, helping them build confidence in math, develop problem-solving skills, and fully realize their potential.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.
