My name is Jeff and I am the Owner/Center Director here at Winter Haven. I wanted to open a Mathnasium here in Winter Haven to be able to provide math support to the area. In my spare time I enjoy going to Theme Parks, hanging out with friends, reading, playing video games, and spending time with my daughter. I can not wait for you and your family to come in and meet us!
Hi! I am Amanda, the self appointed staff Math Wizard here at Winter Haven. With a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics, an MBA, and a Masters of Science in Mathematics (Coming Dec 2025), math has been a very big part of my life for a long time. I love math and enjoy sharing it with students of all ages and abilities. I have been tutoring students one on one and in group settings for 10+ years and most recently taught 6th - 12th grade math at a credit recovery Public school in Polk County. I look forward to making math fun and accessible to all students
Abbey is a Computer Science student at Florida Polytechnic University with a strong background in Mathematics. She previously taught a Chemistry Summer Camp at All Saints Academy, has participated in several hackathons, and recently completed an internship with NASA. In her free time she enjoys playing pickleball, travelling, and volunteering at animal shelters.
Elisabet is a freshman at Warner University pursuing a degree in Social Work. She has many years of experience working with ESE and ESOL students, and she has a passion for helping children. With two teachers for parents, she has garnered a love for teaching and tutoring students, and hopes to leave a lasting impact on all the people she encounters. She is on the Women's Soccer team and Worship Band at Warner, and in her free time, she loves playing soccer, making music, and spending time with her family.
I am Robert, a senior at Winter Haven High School, with a passion in math and computers. I enjoy the intensity that math classes have to offer and look forward to instructing here at Mathnasium. In my free time I pay video games, enjoy working out, and hanging out with friends.
My name is Allison and I enjoy playing my guitar. I like horror movies, like The Conjuring. I'm a student at Winter Haven High School. I really enjoy math and teaching others. I am also a fan of metal, rock, and indie music.
Hi, my name is Rose. I am a Cambridge senior at Winter Haven High School. I'm originally from Haiti, so I speak Haitian, Creole, and partially understand French. I have been tutoring math since 6th grade and it has always been my favorite subject. In college I'd like to major in biochemical engineering to hopefully have my own company in the future!
My name is Lukas! I am a senior at Winter Haven High School. My favorite snacks are Snickers and Sour Patch Kids. I enjoy playing chess and solving math problems. I have a guinea pig named Dora. My favorite hobby is playing video games and I love Star Wars! I will be going to college at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and getting my MBA in Aviation.
