Christine Olson is proud to serve as Assistant Center Director at Mathnasium of WoodDale . A Wood Dale resident with a background in higher education, marketing, and management, Christine holds a B.A. in Business Management from Benedictine University. She is passionate about creating an effective and engaging learning environment where students can build confidence and thrive in math.
Christine’s mission is to foster a center culture that is positive, supportive, and deeply rooted in the Mathnasium Method. She is excited to partner with local families to help every student unlock their potential and build a strong foundation in math.
Babar brings extensive experience in franchising and business growth to his role at Mathnasium. Known for his leadership and strategic expertise, he is committed to creating an environment where every student can succeed. His focus is on ensuring that children not only improve their math skills but also develop the confidence to use them in everyday life.
At Mathnasium, Babar is passionate about building success for every child, every family, every day. By combining proven strategies with a love for education, he helps students see math as a pathway to opportunity and achievement.
Hussam brings 17 years of experience in the fast-paced IT industry to his role as Center Director at Mathnasium of Wood Dale. His love for continuous learning, combined with a strong passion for shaping the future, inspires his commitment to helping students excel in mathematics.
He is dedicated to building strong foundations in math that empower students to succeed both academically and personally. Hussam believes every child has the potential to thrive and is proud to guide young learners toward greater confidence and long-term success.
Meet Ahmer Syed
Ahmer Syed is a recent graduate of Western Governors University, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Software Development. His strong foundation in mathematics, combined with a genuine passion for teaching, makes him a natural fit for helping young learners build confidence in the classroom.
What sets Ahmer apart is his ability to connect with kids. Drawing on his experience teaching children, he knows how to turn challenging concepts into something fun and approachable, making sure every student feels supported and excited to learn. His patient, friendly demeanor puts kids at ease right away, and his enthusiasm for problem-solving is contagious — students often leave his sessions not just understanding the material, but genuinely looking forward to the next one.
Whether he's breaking down a tricky math problem or introducing the basics of coding, Ahmer brings the same mix of knowledge, warmth, and encouragement to every lesson. It's no surprise that kids love learning with him!
