Gwendolyn graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from William Paterson University. She has had a passion for helping her friends with their math homework since her elementary days. Her original dream was to become a high school math teacher but after working at Mathnasium during her college career, she realized the difference she could make with the personalized approach we have for each student.
Amy earned her Mathematics Education degree at the University of Central Florida while teaching at Mathnasium. Her love for helping students learn math still exists more than a decade later and that passion to change lives through math has lead her to become a District Manager in the North East area. Her proudest moment came recently when her daughter became a Mathnasium student and now the term “Mathlete” has taken on even more meaning!
With six years of teaching experience in schools, Peter brings a deep passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed. At Mathnasium, he strives to create a supportive and engaging environment where every student can build confidence in math and reach their full potential. Watching students overcome challenges and grow their skills is what inspires him every day. His goal is to make math fun, approachable, and empowering for all learners.
Bill is a civil engineer who transitioned to being an educator. He loves being a Mathnasium instructor for several reasons that include teaching math and working with kids. He especially enjoys seeing children grow and mature in their math knowledge and overcoming the challenge of learning new subjects, doing homework and excelling on tests. Bill also has the belief that beyond learning math, the Mathnasium program is extremely helpful towards developing problem solving and life coping skills.
Israa is an aspiring lawyer who loves to see kids understand topics they were once struggling to comprehend. She enjoys making connections with her students that go beyond just learning math skills. She really gets to know each student and takes an interest in their hobbies outside of Mathnasium.
Matt's favorite part of working at Mathnasium is helping students succeed and seeing their confidence grow when they grasp challenging concepts. He finds it incredibly rewarding to watch their grades improve and to be part of a supportive, collaborative team. We all work together to create a positive learning experience for our students.
Elizabeth is passionate about helping others learn! She began teaching math with her younger siblings, and joined Mathnasium to continue her work. She enjoys watching students learn to love math and strengthen their abilities. She feels fulfilled helping students every session!
Jake is working to become a mechanical engineer. He's great with math, and fosters a friendly environment for learning to all those around him. He lovs seeing others succeed, and is always there to reach out a helping hand! He love working here with the kids, and gives them guidance to reach their full potential!
