Beck is currently a freshman at UC Irvine, pursuing a degree in computer engineering. He has a passion for mathematics, especially Olympiad math, such as the AMC and AIME tests. He enjoys helping others solve math problems and teaching them the skills to solve them independently. In addition, he has tutored students at all levels, from Pre-K to Calculus, and aims to share the joy of understanding a problem with every student. In his free time, he plays basketball and online games with his friends—or does math.
Ryan is currently attending Fullerton College and plans to transfer to a four-year university. He’s aiming for a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, followed by an MBA in Business. While reflecting on his high school days, Ryan remembers the tough nights when he wished for extra help, which sparked his passion for tutoring. He believes that teaching others is an incredible skill to develop. With a strong appreciation for math, Ryan is working hard to become part of a community that helps everyone discover the joy of numbers.
Giana is a senior at Yorba Linda High School and plans to attend a 4-year university studying child development. She hopes to become an elementary school teacher in the future. At Mathnasium, Giana wants to engage and support students through their math journey. She loves helping others in any and every way possible. In her free time, she enjoys playing basketball, listening to music, and spending time with her family.
