5 Reasons Why We Love Math

5 Reasons to love math!

1.)  Math helps critical thinking.  Problem solving requires us to evaluate given information and use facts we know in order to solve problems.  This is a skill that is not only useful for math problems, but in the real world in careers and our personal lives.

3.)  Math helps with managing money.  From basic budgeting to assesing risks in investments, begin good at math has a million and one benefits roblem solving requires us to evaluate given information and use facts we know inwhen it comes to finances! 

4.)  Math helps with cooking!  Have a favorite recipe but it only makes enough for 5 and you want to bring it to a dinner party for 10?  Easily multiplying and divising fractions makes halving, doubling, or even tripling a recipe a breeze!

5.)  Math is all around us.  Math shows up in the world all around us.  The Fibonacci spiral appears in sunflowers, pi is the ratio of the circumference and diamater of a circle, and the amazing shapes we use to build structures are ways we are constantly surrounded by math.
