Victor is a graduate from OU with a degree in Health & Exercise Science. He is currently taking a gap year to prepare for the MCAT and build experience for med school. Victor likes math because it feels like a puzzle. He enjoys working at Mathnasium because teaching is fun and he wants to help kids enjoy math. In his free time Victor likes to go to the gym, watch TV, and play games. A little known fact about Victor is that he played baseball for 12 years!
Kate is a Junior at Southwest Covenant. She likes math because she always loves a challenge and learning new ways to problem solve. Kate chose to work at Mathnasium because of the flexibility for her schedule and the encouraging environment. In her free time, she loves to cheer at football games and hang out with friends. A little known fact about Kate is she has played piano for over 11 years!
Helios is a Senior at Yukon High School. He enjoys math because of the logical thought process that math provides and the straight forwardness of math. Helios likes working at Mathnasium because he gets to teach younger students to not be so frightened by bigger concepts. After graduation, Helios plans to major in Physics after high school and then pursue his doctorates in Quantum Physics. In his free time, he likes to play guitar and video games with friends. A little-known fact about Helios is that her grew up in Hawaii and spent a majority of his teenage years in California.
Abel is a Senior at Claasen SAS High School. He likes math because it is everywhere around the world. "Anywhere I look there is always something involving math. That's why it is so intriguing!" Abel likes to work at Mathnasium because it fits well into his schedule and he gets to teach others. After graduation he plans to go into pre-med in college and the pursue an MD degree. In his free time, Abel likes to play baseball and video games.
Summer has a degree in Mathematics and plans to become a teacher in the future. She likes math because of the patterns and rules that it follows. Once you recognize the patterns and understand the rules then you're all set. Summer likes working at Mathnasium because she can help students find the keys to understand math in their own way. In her free time, she likes to do all things related to the arts: drawing, theatre, singing, dancing. She is also a big collector of comics, manga, and books. A fun fact about Summer is that she has traveled to 12 different states and driven through more. She has a bunch of fun stories to share!
