At Mathnasium, we can go on forever and ever about pi. This irrational never-ending number that begins with 3.14 is such a big part of not only our lives, but the universe. Pi is everywhere—from calculations with circles and spheres, to measuring waves, and even to the double helix of our DNA. We use pi in physics, space exploration, medical sciences, engineering and much more. Pi Day is March 14th (3.14), which also also happens to be the same day as Albert Einstein's birthday.
So join us in celebrating Pi! Below is a fun word search activity for you to share with your family. All the words are circular objects. Can you find them all?
Be sure to enjoy circuluar shaped treats today (like pizza, pie, cupcakes, and cookies) and have a blast!
