Outside of Mathnasium Danielle volunteers with church as a Sunday school teacher since 2013. She is married and enjoys working out with her husband, reading.

Chief Instructional Officer (Headquarters)Larry Martinek, Chief Instructional Officer  (Headquarters)

Larry has spent his entire career finding a better way to teach math. From inner city to public schools, to acclaimed magnet schools, to leading private and parochial schools, Larry has served as both a classroom teacher and as an educational consultant. He has designed curricula, teaching strategies, and teaching materials designed to help students and teachers learn math more effectively. He has trained teachers in the art and science of boosting student's ability to "do" math, thereby increasing student's math scores and feeling of self-worth. Larry is the developer of Mathnasium's educational program - one of the most comprehensive and innovative curricula ever produced for teaching math.

Steven, Lead Instructor

Steven was originally from Manhattan NY and currently attend WGU for Computer Science. He has been tutoring Mathematics for almost 6 years. He has experience with a wide range of math topics as well as a variety of students. Over the years, he has found it best to work with students in personalized way. Not all students learn the same way, some prefer verbal or visual while others enjoy algorithmic or deductive approaches.

"At Mathnasium, we strive to give a true understanding of numbers – creating a sense for them – as well as a customized learning plan and a diverse range of teaching methods and tools. I believe in the approach that caters to students and I am happy to be apart of the team here."

Matthew, Instructor

Matthew is currently pursuing a degree in physics with a minor in education in order to become an educator that can help future generations discover the beauty and enjoyment in math and science. He began exploring math because he oved it as early as preschool and hasn’t stopped since. Now, he hopes he can help current students find their own love and passion for the subject. When not doing math, I spend time performing music and working on tabletop game design.

Shay, Instructor

My name is Shay, and I love math! Back when I was a student, math was always one of my favorite subjects. I like that there are so many ways to solve problems to find the correct answer, as well as how you can also self-correct if something seems off. Working at Mathnasium combines my love of math with the enjoyment I find in working with kids! Back when I was a kid myself I would volunteer to help children, and I have carried that through all of my professional career in various roles. When not at Mathnasium, I engage in various forms of art, study Japanese, play Dungeons & Dragons, tinker with computers, and watch animal videos, and when the weather permits it, I can be found in parks taking photos of insects and plants.

  Shamik, Instructor

Shikhar, Instructor

Shikhar is a junior at the Academy for Science and Design. The reason he likes math is he believes it encourages problem-solving and critical thinking skills that can apply to solving real-world problems as well. He likes helping kids because he wants everyone to excel and enjoy math. Outside of Mathnasium and school, he plays varsity tennis, is on the robotics team, and likes to watch football.

 Shreya, Instructor

Zeph, Senior Instructor

Zeph is a sophomore at SNHU, currently majoring in game programming while minoring in mathematics. Math has always came easily to him, and he enjoys a challenge so he keeps pursuing it and stumbling around to find harder problems. He also teaches his younger sister math, and loves seeing her face light up when she gets the problems correct. When Zeph is not working, he is usually playing games or hanging out with friends goofing off, swimming in the summer, or spending time with his sister.
