Meet the Team at Mathnasium of North Costa Mesa

My name is Jesus Gonzalez I'm 30 years old and I love math. One of the most cherished memories I have of my grandpa was sitting at his kitchen table while he quizzed me on my algebra skills, although I have considered math to be my strongest subject he was able to stump me with his questions. After high school I studied computer engineering at San Joaquin Delta College and then University of the Pacific, and hope to continue my studies to eventually become a researcher or data scientist. When I'm not studying math I enjoy soccer, snowboarding, anime, spending time in nature, training my dog, and meditation. Mathnasium of North Costa Mesa is a great atmosphere, energetic, with a common goal of helping each and every student. When I see a student struggle with a concept I remember how I felt when my grandpa would quiz me, but he always had a smile on his face and would be patient when teaching. I hope that we can share a little bit of appreciation and joy for learning with our students and they will look back at their time spent at Mathnasium fondly.
