We are always looking for Math Instructors!
Mathnasium is a "math-only" learning center. We are looking to expand our team by adding outstanding individuals with excellent math skills as instructors tutoring students in grades 1-12..jpg)
Hours are flexible. We are open M-Th 3:15-7:30 pm & Sat 10 am-1 pm.
New instructors work 2+ days per week.
BENEFITS OF WORKING AT MATHNASIUM:

Training: We offer training in the proprietary Mathnasium method.
Students: You will work with a variety of students at different grade levels.
All work is in center: All work is done at the Mathnasium Center, so no lesson plans to develop.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong math proficiency through Algebra II (Pre-Calculus and Calculus preferred but not required).
- High motivation, commitment, and enthusiasm.
- Able to arrive to work during the week by 3:15 PM
- Good Communications Skills
All applicants will need to complete an application and a three part math assessment that includes the basics up through middle school math, an Algebra review, along with a short Geometry check-up. Applicants that qualify for employment will be subject to a detailed background check before being considered for employment.

My son enjoys learning new concepts and getting challenging practice in topics he is very interested in. He even explains things to us as he solves the math problems. This tells me that he doesn't just know how to solve a problem, he understands the logic behind the computation. I hope he can continue to utilize this skill in school and every day activities.

My daughter was able to transition from 8th grade to Algebra in high school with no problem.
After 10 months of tutoring and starting high school, my daughter came home one day and said she didn’t think she needed tutoring anymore.

Just today my son was accommodated for a last minute request to change his schedule since he does not want to wait from 3:30 tp 5 pm that's a long wait. It made him happy that is some of the reason why we stayed for a long time at Mathnasium. I remember I told many people about this place that I saw few of my friends children is now in the same place. he will soon go to college I know that he will be ready because of Mathnasium.

We have seen a difference in our son's math confidence level and of course his grades.

As a parent, I needed a little help in Math for my daughter, and I found the support I needed, it must be a commitment of both parties, both of us to take the student and them, explain to the student and teach them and ask them, I liked it a lot and as soon as we allow ourselves to be helped by them, the better it will be for our children. Mathnaseum has really helped my daughter advance in her math to the point she passed her STAAR test last year. Jon and the rest of the staff really care about the kids. Jon is willing to work with you if you have a special request for help in a particular skill, too. Having an online component during these COVID-19 times is wonderful.

My daughter attends three times a week for an hour a day which has been perfect and accommodates her learning pace. Great learning center which deserves more than a 5 star rating!!

We had the best experience with Mathnasium and I am forever grateful for this amazing program. I believe it truly helped my child develop her love for Math, helped her gain confidence but also very importantly, it got her caught up on skills that were lacking since 1st grade (my child was in 5th while attending mathnasium).
Your curriculum, testing practices and overall process is really great. I have to admit, we were dubious going in. It truly is an impressive program and one that I wish you all had for Reading and other subjects.
I recommend friends, family and teachers to Mathnasium! We unfortunately moved and won't be able to visit this center, but my child loved it so much she wants us to drive the 45 minutes so she can continue at this center. Very well run program and GREAT staff. Kudos to them, their hiring and overall management of the location, staff and program.

My daughter was having a tough time with math and is entering third grade. Previous attempts at improvement through “Dad Math” home sessions were minimally successful. She really likes the methods used by Mathnasium tutors to improve her math skills in an enjoyable, relaxed setting and will continue to use Mathnasium throughout the school year.

Chris now has A's in math it is not even one year that we have been to Mathnasium. Less stress for our family since they help him 30 minutes with his homework plus 30 minutes of extra curriculum that they gave, help him understand math. It is worth the time and money it is cheaper too compared to other places. Drop him after school Monday to Thursday had also an option on Saturday's goes to HEB for 55 minutes for my groceries then pick him up goes home. Very convenient.

Mathnasium is great! Having worked with my kids, I know they are not jazzed about any math activities. Mathnasium changed that attitude. They look forward to their sessions. They come out of their sessions excited about having completed x amount of pages.
The only difficulty I have is trying to slot Mathnasium sessions with the kids’ extracurricular activities. Traffic at Prue Road after 5pm makes one not to brave it. Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons would have worked with our schedule as well. Anyhow, thanks Mathnasium!

My son went from groaning at the word math. He would rather clean dishes or clean the floors than do a math problem. Now that he’s been with Mathnasium for a few months his attitude towards math has improved greatly. The other day I found him doing math on his own. He was wondering how many pieces of bone meal he could get if he had nine stacks of bones (Minecraft). So instead of just brushing off he started working it out. His grade in school has steadily increased. He started the the year with an 83. The last report card he received an 89. And yesterday we got his progress report and he received a 101!!!
He likes going to the Mathnasium center. It’s never a struggle to get him to go. The staff is friendly and are responsive to feedback. We love Mathnasium!!

My daughter has been going for about 9 months now, it's really helped her with her math homework and tests. She doesn't hate math as much as she used to. It helped her pass the STAAR test and she was ready for the next school year math class when school started up again. She was actually ahead of her classmates when it came to basic math skills. I highly recommend it for any child struggling in math.

The incentive system works well and has gotten both our talkative 7th grader and our very soft-spoken 3rd grader leaving each session very enthusiastic and talkative about their day's accomplishments. My daughter has had a great learning experience with Mathnasium. Test scores have improved dramatically and her progress has increased since starting Mathnasium six months ago. We love the hours and they are open on Saturdays, Very flexible and the people there are welcoming and professional. My daughter actually looks forward to coming, and that’s saying a lot because she doesn’t like Math. I highly recommend it to any parent looking for math tutoring for their child.
