Ali Sasso, Owner/Center Director
Nancy Zhagui, Center Director
Nancy graduated from University at Buffalo with a B.S. in Mathematics. Before working at Mathnasium she tutored at Astoria Queens Library her senior year of High School and enjoyed the job very much. She also came from a big family and was always surrounded by young kids so the combination of math and working with kids was very appealing. Nancy also currently instructs 2 math programming classes at BMCC.
Nancy says the connection she has made with the kids of Park Slope Mathnasium is no other and she loves helping them! She is currently trying to decide whether to pursue a career in engineering or in the medical field (she blames Grey's Anatomy). In the far future she plans on opening a Mathnasium in Queens (in a long time from now, but who knows!).
Jason Mix, Lead Instructor

PJ grew up on Long Island and she enjoys vacationing on the beach with her family and cooking.

Mike Delehant, Instructor
Mike received his bachelor's degree from University of California at Santa Barbara in Business Economics and his MBA at the University of California at Davis. Before becoming an instructor at Mathnasium, Mike was a paralegal in San Francisco and then interned for a startup and completed a consulting project for a local corporation.
When asked what prompted his desire to work for Mathnsaium he stated: "I used to coach youth soccer and basketball for several seasons, and I enjoyed this experience. Given my educational background in math I figured I could be a great instructor for the students of Mathnasium."
Mike is new to New York and the East Coast, having lived in California his entire live before recently moving.
Julean DeJesus, Instructor
Julean is majoring in Public Health at Brooklyn College. Before working at Mathnasium he was an usher with the education department with the New Victory Theater.
When asked what prompted his desire to work for Mathnasium he stated: "After finishing my time with the New Victory, I wanted a way to continue working with kids and this location near my home was a great opportunity to do so while finishing school."
Julean was born and raised in New York City and has lived here in Park Slope for 11 years.
