September $100 Raffle Winner!
We are happy to announce that Trent Trotter is our first $100 raffle winner! We applaud him for his hard work at Mathnasium and in school that helped him earn his raffle tickets. We are also very proud of our many other students who have been working hard this school year but did not win the raffle today. Keep up the hard work to earn your tickets for our next raffle this December!
Back to School Party!
To celebrate the school year starting again, we will be host a Back to School party on August 20th from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Events at the party will include math and logic based games like 4-Way Countdown, Mastermind, Set, Blink, Blokus, Chess, and Checkers, an Estimation Station where students will guess how many candies are in a jar and the closest guess wins the candy, our Problem of the Week, Raffles, a few surprises, and coloring for those who are looking to add a little color into their lives. Any student grades 1st-12th can attend whether they are a Mathnasium student or not. This will give you a chance to come check out our Center and meet the Instructors if you are not currently a student! This event will be free, and you do not need to RSVP before coming. We look forward to seeing everyone!
Every year Mathnasiums across the world celebrate Pi Day on March 14th. Here at Mathnasium of Pflugerville, we celebrated by challenging our students to memorize as many digits of pi as they could. We would like to congratulate our winner Trent Trotter for memorizing 33 digits of pi! Here are the first 33 digits of pi to try to memorize them for yourself!
