Miglė Valentinavičiūtė

Hey everyone! My name is Miglė and I am the Assistant Center director at Mathnasium! I am a college student at the University of Wisconsin – Parkside, and I am majoring in Music Performance and Music Education. I am a flute player, and I teach private flute and piano classes. Even though I am not a Mathematician, I love to look around this wonderful Mathnasium center, and see students succeed in this fascinating subject! In my free time, I love to do arts and crafts and play video games.

Hello, I am Lakshmi, an instructor at Mathnasium of Pleasant Prairie. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Masters in Computer Science Engineering. I enjoy teaching kids the various strategies to solve problems and be successful. In my free time I spend time with my family.

Margaret Lucke

Hello! My name is Margaret and I'm an instructor at Mathnasium in Pleasant Prairie. I have earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Iowa, master's degree from Carthage College, and have recently retired after teaching secondary mathematics in Illinois for over three decades. In my free time, I love to spend time with my family, travel, read, and play handbells and the piano. I enjoy helping students be successful and gain confidence in math using the Mathnasium way!

Kimberly Jensen

Hello, and welcome to The Math Learning Center! My name is Kim Jensen and I am excited to be mentoring students at Mathnasium of Pleasant Prairie. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and relish any opportunity to empower students, especially females and minorities, in S.T.E.M. fields. As a former homeschooler, I saw firsthand how successful individualized instruction can be. For recreation, I enjoy boating, sewing, staying fit, and spending time with family in northern WI. My time spent at Mathnasium has been very rewarding.

Keiara Newsome

Hi! My name is Keiara Newsome and I am so excited to be an Instructor here at Mathnasium. I graduated from Western Carolina University with my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Mathematics. I am a new teacher at Christian Life School where I teach middle school Math. I am originally from Charlotte, North Carolina and moved to Wisconsin in the summer of 2022. I love everything and anything math and in my spare time, I love to read, hang out with friends, and shop.

Madison Elle Tongco

Hi there! I'm Madi, a student at Lakeview Technology Academy. I love math and am a part of Lakeview's Math Club. I have participated in numerous math competitions, including Mathcounts and Math Kangaroo. My favorite math theorem is the Chicken McNugget Theorem. I've played piano for over 10 years and run cross country for Indian Trail. I love working with kids and am excited to share my passion for math with others!

Ella Sager

Hi! I’m Ella Sager, a high school Junior at Westosha Central High School. I am currently taking college level calculus and I love math! I have competed in a number of math competitions through school, and I try to learn something new everyday. I am also a member of the National Honor Society, Mentor Programs, and volunteer organizations. Working with the kids at Mathnasium is fantastic and I strive to help them achieve their goals everyday!

Harley Chen

Harley graduated from Lakeview Technology Academy looking to major in Biomedical Engineering, as well as Marine Biology. He has always enjoyed solving mathematical equations as they are more like puzzles that each have their own unique approach and solution to them. He believes math is a concept that is more understood because of the many avenues and teaching methods different people have when it comes to understanding equations. Often there is a laundry list of hobbies he enjoys, from swimming to building drones/creating video games.

Anna Gustafson

Hello! My name is Anna Gustafson and I am a senior at Indian Trail High School. For as long as I can remember, my favorite subject has been math. I want to show students that math can be fun and help them develop confidence in their math abilities. In my free time, I love to figure skate, play my violin, read, and spend time with my friends and family.

Lillian Metzger

Hi! I'm Lillian, a student at Indian Trail. I enjoy math and participate in a math competition league throughout middle school. I've been in dance for 14 years and enjoy being an assistant in the little kid classes. I also enjoy horseback riding, sewing, and music/choir.
