Suneet J., Owner
With a Master’s in Math Education from Columbia University, Suneet started his journey as an educator by tutoring math in his college. After graduating with a BS in Engineering, he joined Democracy Prep High School in Manhattan as a Math Teacher, and Herricks High School as a Student Teacher. Throughout this time, Suneet continued to work as a Lead Instructor at Mathnasium of Roslyn and eventually decided to own his own center. He has tremendous confidence in the Mathnasium Method and has steered over three hundred students to excel in math.
With 10 years of cumulative professional and educational experience in teaching math to a wide age group of students, Suneet firmly believes that every child can succeed in math if taught the right way.
Alan Flyer, Executive Advisor/Owner
Alan Flyer is a Schreiber High School graduate who grew up in Port Washington. He attended Cornell University, receiving a B.A. in Government. After spending four years on Capitol Hill as a technology consultant for the United States Senate in Washington DC, he received his M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Alan has been “making math make sense” to kids using the Mathnasium method of instruction since 2011 at Mathnasium of Roslyn and is excited to bring Mathnasium to his hometown of Port Washington.
Andrew K., Assistant Center Director
Andrew has an MS in Geology and MS Environmental Sustainability. He has experience teaching at the college level as a Teaching Assistant while attending graduate school and as an Adjunct Lecturer for one year at the City College of New York. Since college, he has maintained an interest in math as a hobby while putting it to practical use as a scientist.
Freddie B., Senior Instructor
Freddie has been working at Mathnasium since May 2013 and has been known to say that he "would work here until 2031." He graduated with a Psychology degree from Queens College and is currently on track to do his post-graduate work in Education (a field he fell in love with after tutoring his classmates in math as an undergraduate). His motivation to help students has manifested itself in inventing tools for learning difficult concepts, as well as puzzles and games for everyone.

Camilla G., Instructor
Camilla is a biochemistry major and math minor at Hofstra University. She first discovered her love for math when she was in elementary school. She tutored her peers in math throughout high school and loved to help others excel in their math courses. She is so excited to join the staff at Mathnasium and looks forward to inspiring the students to love math as much as she does!
Stephanie K., Instructor
Stephanie is a student at St. John’s University. Ever since she was a child, math was her favorite subject. She loves working with numbers and her love for math only grew from there. She used to tutor her friends in math in high school and volunteered to teach other school children as well. Working with kids is something that she loves to do. It makes her happy to know that she has made a positive impact in their lives. She is excited to be a part of the Mathnasium team and help kids excel in math while also having fun!
Priya M., Instructor
Priya has an M.S. in Organic Chemistry and Bachelors in Education. She has nine years of teaching experience in Math and Science.
Her experience in teaching and love for math gives her the confidence to build trust with her students. Her goal is to help her students understand math concepts so they can develop an interest in learning math. She feels fortunate to be part of the Mathnasium team, where she can help students learn math in a better way and succeed in their educational journey.
Brian H., Instructor
Brian is currently a student at Vaughn College of Aeronautics, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, with a minor in Air Traffic Control. Brian has enjoyed math ever since he was a child and has always excelled at it. Along with his love for air and space crafts, his passion for math has shared in influencing him to pursue his current major. Brian has tutored students in math for many years, starting in high school, initially as a way to review the material. The more students he tutored, the more enjoyment he found in helping others excel at all levels of math. Brian is very excited to work with the students at Mathnasium and make math fun for them!
