Baylor

Center Director
Center Director Baylor is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a degree in Mathematics. He loves showing off pictures of his two dogs, playing tabletop and board games, and telling jokes that he thinks are a lot funnier than they really are. Baylor has been with Mathnasium for over 10 years. He has been an instructor, a lead instructor, an Assistant Center Director and now his role is Center Director. Baylor is passionate about math and passionate about changing the student's lives through math when they walk into the center. Favorite Number: 24, it has a lot of factors for such a small number. Favorite Math Joke: My girlfriend is like the square root of -100... She's a 10, but she's imaginary! In five years, I will be: Helping kids with math, no matter where I am. I love Mathnasium because: It is a safe place for people to build their confidence with math and to feel good about themselves again. I love seeing students flourish!

Judi

Instructor
Judi is a retired WV teacher who moved to FL to be near her grandchildren. You may find her at our local schools working as a substitute teacher when not having grandchildren days. She is from Pittsburg, PA and is a huge Steelers and Penguins fan. Judi loves working with her team at Mathnasium. Favorite Number – I don’t really have a favorite but if I did it would not be an odd number. Favorite Math Joke - What do you get when you cross a dog and a calculator? Answer - A friend you can count on. In 5 years I will be hopefully still working at Mathnasium and enjoying my grandchildren while watching them grow up. I love Mathnasium because Ms Becky has a great team. We explain math so our students understand and gain the confidence needed to excel.

Jalia

Instructor
Jalia is a graduate working toward a career in medicine. She loves board games, puzzles, and reading. She likes swimming and playing Minecraft in her free time. Favorite number is 27 because 3 cubed is 27 & 3 is my lucky number. Math joke: Why shouldn’t you debate with a 90° angle? Because they’re always right. In 5 years, I will be in my first year of medical school. I love Mathnasium because it allows students a safe and fun place to learn math, and us, as instructors the ability to help them solve problems in a way that works best for them.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
