Sarah
Center Director
Sarah has spent her life immersed in education, raising and homeschooling five children. She holds a Bachelor’s in Education from George Mason University, an Associate's Degree from Southern Virginia University, and has taken graduate-level math courses at Southern New Hampshire University. Sarah brings a deep love of teaching and a special passion for math to the center.
She believes that Mathnasium offers the clearest, most effective system for helping students build lasting math skills. When she’s not teaching, Sarah enjoys hiking, skiing, and the great outdoors; and she holds a black belt in karate!
Jerry
Instructor
Jerry has lived in Santa Fe for over 30 years and has always been passionate about math, numbers, and teaching. A graduate of Northwestern University with a degree in Accounting and a J.D. from its law school, Jerry brings a wealth of experience to the center. He’s also an accomplished skier, avid bridge player, and dedicated coach and mentor.
He loves helping others grow in confidence and skills, whether it’s math, skiing, or bridge. At Mathnasium, Jerry shares his lifelong love of numbers to help students build a strong foundation and enjoy learning.
Daria
Instructor
Daria is a Santa Fe native who earned her BS in Mathematics from New Mexico State University. She has always had a strong interest in math and is excited to help students find success and enjoyment in the subject. She also attended The Master’s Program Charter High School and has taken classes at Santa Fe Community College.
Outside of work, Daria enjoys playing chess, reading, spending time with her dog, and traveling. She speaks Polish and loves sharing her passion for learning with students at Mathnasium.
Jaime
Owner
Jaime brings a love of teaching and adventure to her role at Mathnasium. She has a BA in History from Brigham Young University and previously taught English online to students around the world. A mother of seven, Jaime understands the value of individualized education and how powerful it is to help students believe in themselves.
When she’s not at the center, Jaime loves being outside, running, kayaking, mountain biking, and camping. She’s passionate about helping students who, like her, may have once doubted their math abilities but are ready to grow in confidence.
Philip
Owner
Philip combines a background in engineering and military service with a passion for math education. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah and a Master’s in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University. After 13 years of active duty in the Navy and a decade in project and engineering management, he co-founded Mathnasium of Santa Fe.
Philip is a firm believer that math opens doors, and he’s committed to helping local students gain the skills they need to succeed. In his free time, he enjoys snowboarding, motorcycling, and spending time outdoors with his family.
