This center is Always accommodating, my son enjoys going to his session and he also passed both his regents and not the strongest test taker.

Mathanasium in Smithtown is the best Rich has always been so professional & listened to my Concerns regarding my daughter Math issues! They did wonders for her & they also helped her with her SAT tests! Would recommend them on a heart beat!

My 8 year old daughter looks forward to going to her Mathnasium sessions. Richard and his team make the environment fun and engaging. It is obvious to see they all take great care in encouraging kids to think critically and work independently - not just a math homework tutor center. Mathnasium provides its own materials for the kids. They understand the importance of having kids take time to understand the ideas and concepts and not just committing to memory a formula or process. I’m so glad I went and checked out the center with my daughter. She even helps her friends in class now with some math concepts. Thank you, Richard, for all the hard work you and your team put in to create an invaluable experience for my daughter.

My daughter is “crazy for math” now and thats all thanks to Richard and his team at Smithtown Mathnasium. Richard has an extraordinary way of making math fun and my daughter cant wait and is genuinely excited about her math session every time. He makes the “FUN” of math contagious to his entire team. All the tutors bring a level of excellence and it’s obvious they are all dedicated to not just teaching math, but fostering a deep understanding and love for the subject. Furthermore, Rich and his team take the time to understand each student, their quirks (such as needing things to be in rainbow order), their strengths and weaknesses, and foster the student as a whole. Their ability to break down complex math problems, and explain things calmly and patiently is astounding. This personalized approach has created such a sense of confidence in her abilities, making her feel supported and empowered to tackle even the most challenging problems. I’ve been witness to my daughter and other kids with a math frown, literally turned upside down! Rich has an excellent ability to be on the students level to explain things, to bring them out of a funk or “I can’t do this” attitude and its remarkable seeing such a big smile on her face every time she succeeds. On top of all this, the entire Mathnasium is kept clean and sanitary right down to disinfecting the pencils! I could not ask for more, and highly recommend Smithtown Mathnasium.

My husband and I love that our daughter loves coming here and getting the help she needs for math. The owner Richard is the nicest person as well as his staff. My son is in 8th grade and struggling with Algebra I. He was basically failing so I decided to bring him here and thankfully I did. He passed the regents which I am very happy about. The mentors there are great too. My son liked them all.

My 10th grade son needed ongoing help with Algebra ll. Appointments were booked on the app, anytime, with ease…the tutors were amazing- friendly, smart, challenging and encouraging but helping him to work through the problems. I initially signed up for 5 sessions- reasonably priced- kept going back bc he was getting so much out of it. Highly recommend!

Mathnasium has been able to help my daughter pass and exceed in Algebra 2 and Precalculus. Along with improving her grades, it allowed to her to reduce the anxiety associated with these classes by giving her the confidence to understand and comprehend the topics.

Love the consistent positive support and how they make math easier for my child to follow! Since we started she is making honor roll and offered opportunity to take advanced math next year!
