Meet the Team at Mathnasium of Snoqualmie Valley

Elizabeth Pan

Elizabeth is currently studying in the University of Washington, majoring in accounting. She started to build her interest in Math after she got into high school. Then, she participated in the National Honor Society to tutor her fellow classmates who struggled in Math. Along with her tutoring experiences, Elizabeth is passionate and patient when staying with students. She is glad to be part of the Mathnasium family and help students to improve with their Math skills.

Jamie Stringham

Jamie has recently earned a Bachelor's Degree in math from the University of Washington, and is working towards obtaining a teaching certificate so she can work as a math teacher. She loves math, and is excited to help students learn new concepts, and master their current skills. Jamie is a mom to four kids, and in her spare time she likes to do puzzles, play board games, and play piano.

Taj Khandekar

Taj is currently a high schooler at Interlake HS. She joined Mathnasium as an Instructor after becoming interested in math through school. Taj enjoys how math can be applied to so many different fields. She hopes to share this passion at Mathnasium. Especially, she is passionate about helping students develop their skills and interests more in math. In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading and skiing.

Pranav Vaddi

Pranav is an instructor at Mathnasium in Snoqualmie. When he is a junior at Mount Si High School, where he tries to excel in what he does. Teaching people things is something that he always enjoys doing, but having fun while doing it is also something that he wants to do more of. Working at Mathnasium is something that helps him do both of those things, so he enjoys working there. Also, when he has free time he likes playing the piano and having fun with friends.

Caroline Wilcox

Caroline is pursuing a degree in Accounting at Louisiana State University. She developed an interest in education from tutoring. She is working as a Mathnasium Instructor during her time home from college. In addition to her passion for math learning, Caroline loves teaching and helping young people! She enjoys working with students of all levels to encourage their growth and confidence at Mathnasium. She hopes to make learning fun for the students and to contribute to the positive atmosphere of our learning center.

Grace Walters

Grace has loved math from an early age and loves being able to teach it to kids and help them grow in their enjoyment of math. When she’s not working or at school Grace enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors.

Mary Lee

Mary has a bachelor of science and a math teacher certification. She taught high school math for about 20 years. Prior to that she worked in the aerospace industry. She is retired and loves helping students learn math skills. In her spare time she plays duplicate bridge, reads, and goes for long walks.

Hannah Chen

Hannah is currently a sophomore at Mount Si High School. She loves working with younger kids and is excited to be able to help them learn and grow. In her free time Hannah loves making jewelry, playing instruments, and spending time with friends & family.

Samuel Chen

Sam is a student at the University of Washington, planning to major in aerospace engineering. For many years, Sam has helped in mentoring others in many ways, and he’s glad to be able to continue passing forwards what he has learned from others. When not at school or the Mathnasium Center, Sam likes going on walks and writing.

Ilene Katz (Sam)

Ilene Katz, calls herself Sam. She taught mathematics in college for 40 years. She loves Math and teaching, so she is very glad to be working with the students at Mathnasium. Sam and her husband loves going for walks, travelling, cats and their daughter Jess.

Brayden Heard

Brayden has a passion for working with kids and teaching them to love math like he does. When Brayden isn’t working at Mathnasium, he enjoys playing soccer, football, and basketball with his friends. He also plays the trumpet and the french horn in the Mount Si High School band.
