Meet the Team at Mathnasium of Snoqualmie Valley

Yekan

Yekan earned his bachelor's degree in Mathematics and two master's degrees in Human Resource Management and Cybersecurity. With over a decade of teaching experience, he has been dedicated to teaching mathematics, not only covering the standard curriculum but also thriving in imparting concepts related to math competitions. Outside of work, Yekan finds joy in playing board games with friends and he is a half-professional Go player. He takes pride in being a member of the Mathnasium family, where he contributes to helping students enhance their mathematical skills.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth is currently studying in the University of Washington, majoring in accounting. She started to build her interest in Math after she got into high school. Then, she participated in the National Honor Society to tutor her fellow classmates who struggled in Math. Along with her tutoring experiences, Elizabeth is passionate and patient when staying with students. She is glad to be part of the Mathnasium family and help students to improve with their Math skills.

Jamie

Jamie has recently earned a Bachelor's Degree in math from the University of Washington, and is working towards obtaining a teaching certificate so she can work as a math teacher. She loves math, and is excited to help students learn new concepts, and master their current skills. Jamie is a mom to four kids, and in her spare time she likes to do puzzles, play board games, and play piano.

Pranav V.

Pranav, an accomplished instructor at Mathnasium in Snoqualmie, is dedicated to achieving excellence in his teaching endeavors. His passion lies in imparting knowledge and skills to others, but what truly sets him apart is his unwavering commitment to making the learning experience enjoyable and engaging. For Pranav, the joy of teaching is inextricably linked to the enjoyment his students derive from their learning journey. His dynamic approach not only imparts knowledge but also fosters a love for the subject. At Mathnasium, Pranav has found the ideal platform to pursue both his passion for teaching and his dedication to making learning a fun and enriching experience for his students. In his free time, he channels his creativity through music, as he is an avid piano player.

Caroline

Caroline is pursuing a degree in Accounting at Louisiana State University. She developed an interest in education from tutoring. She is working as a Mathnasium Instructor during her time home from college. In addition to her passion for math learning, Caroline loves teaching and helping young people! She enjoys working with students of all levels to encourage their growth and confidence at Mathnasium. She hopes to make learning fun for the students and to contribute to the positive atmosphere of our learning center.

Grace

Grace has loved math from an early age and loves being able to teach it to kids and help them grow in their enjoyment of math. When she’s not working or at school Grace enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors.

Hannah

Hannah is currently a sophomore at Mount Si High School. She loves working with younger kids and is excited to be able to help them learn and grow. In her free time Hannah loves making jewelry, playing instruments, and spending time with friends & family.

Sam

Ilene Katz, calls herself Sam. She taught mathematics in college for 40 years. She loves Math and teaching, so she is very glad to be working with the students at Mathnasium. Sam and her husband loves going for walks, travelling, cats and their daughter Jess.

Pranav N.

Pranav has had a deep affection for math since his pre-school days and has cultivated a genuine passion for imparting mathematical knowledge. He takes great pleasure in assisting students in comprehending math, relishing those moments when they experience that satisfying "got it" breakthrough. When Pranav is not at Mathnasium, he indulges in his interests, including playing the violin, engaging in friendly chess matches, and shooting hoops in basketball games with his friends. Additionally, he is an active member of the robotics team, where he applies his programming skills to contribute to their endeavors.

Aileen

Aileen is currently pursuing a master degree in Biology. Her passion for teaching math and science has been a constant in her life, having provided tutoring and assistance to fellow students since her high school days. When she's not immersed in her studies or sharing her knowledge, you can find her at the indoor climbing gym, where she maintains her fitness, or exploring new destinations as she enjoys traveling.
