Jeremy Jones, Director
Mathnasium Master Certified
Jeremy developed a love for mathematics at young age. As a volunteer math tutor in high school and college he helped friends and fellow students develop a solid understanding of fundamental math skills. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Averett University in Danville, VA in 2003 with concentrations in Management Science and Global Marketing. After college he began work toward a Master’s degree in Consumer Economics, but decided to leave the program and later become a Financial Analyst for The Education Center, the publisher of the nationally renowned Mailbox Magazine.

Jeremy is now thrilled about following his passion for teaching and love of mathematics by opening a Mathnasium Learning Center in Greensboro, NC. He is particularly excited about being able to offer each child a personal program tailored to their specific needs. He also looks forward to offering students the opportunity to strengthen their math skills all while enjoying the learning.

Ingrid Jones, Director
Ingrid is the other half of this husband and wife team. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Averett University, majoring in Art, with minors in Art History and French. Before her exposure to the Mathnasium Method, she always assumed that mathematical thinking and problem solving were unattainable skills due to bad experiences in high school math. She says Mathnasium has given her the confidence and ability in math that she never grasped in a traditional classroom setting. She is looking forward to helping students overcome the same misconceptions about understanding math that she once had.

Ingrid has worked with children in several different capacities and culturally diverse environments. She spent the summer of 2002 in Sumatra, Indonesia teaching ESL classes to students ranging in age from 3 to 35. Her patience and gentle demeanor allow her to effectively connect with children naturally.
