Lina Arvberger

Assistant Director
Lina discovered her passion of teaching through being a private tutor, and then was thrilled to become the Assistant Center Director of Mathnasium in 2023. She graduated with her Associates in Clinical Health Sciences and is currently working on a Bachelors in Nursing. She adores the students here and loves to help better their education. Lina enjoys spending time with her loved ones, going to the gym, and learning new things!

Ikenna Chukwu

Instructor
Ikenna was born and raised in Norcross, GA. He went off to Vanderbilt University to study Neuroscience in pursuit of joining the medical field. He currently works at Mathnasium because he wants to gather more experience working with kids and using the skills he learned for future endeavors. Ikenna enjoys listening to music, eating, getting fit, and discovering what Atlanta has to offer.

Minal Jadhav

Instructor
Minal completed her master’s degree in science in 2002. She brings more than 10 years of teaching experience in the subject of Mathematics and Science, and joined the Mathnasium team in 2023. She loves working with the students and helping them to achieve their math goals. Minal lives in Alpharetta with her husband and two children. She likes to read, and enjoys watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.

Craig Startt

Instructor
Mr. Craig has an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, including memberships in Eta Kappa Nu, and Tau Beta Pi, the National Engineering Honorary. Before retirement, Mr Craig was VP for Bellsouth International, traveling to 46 countries. Upon retirement, Mr Craig went through Georgia Certification and the Special Ed Program at Berry College. Mr Craig has tutored students at home, taught math on the internet, taught special ed at Woodstock High School, taught math at Furtah Prep for 5 years, taught pre-calculus at Chattahoochee Tech for 5 years. Additionally, Mr. Craig has tutored at Mathnasium for the past 7 years.

Patrick Cardwell

Instructor
Patrick is a junior at Kennesaw State University studying secondary mathematics education. Along with education classes and student teaching at Campbell High School, he works part-time at Mathnasium to further prepare him for his career as a future math teacher. Although student teaching helps him learn classroom management and lesson planning skills, the small-group structure of the center allows him to help students one-on-one and practice individualized instruction. Outside of teaching and tutoring, he likes ultra trail-running in north Georgia and weightlifting to stay active.

Suerethia Henderson

Instructor
Greetings, from Suerethia Henderson. She received her Master’s of Science in Finance from Northern Illinois University. Throughout her duration in college she actively participated on the women’s track and field program, engaged in various student organizations, and served as a mentor. Throughout her graduate research she had the opportunity to mentor students across multiple states. She had the privilege to help students learn about the vital areas of finance and leadership development. Upon completion of her degrees, she currently works at Fiserv. In addition, she works at Mathnasium because of her love for kids.

Mbongeni Ncube

Instructor
Mr. Bo joined Mathnasium in Fall of 2023 shortly after graduating from high school. Due to his passion for math and science, he is currently a student at Gwinnett Technical college, and is studying Bioscience Technology, aspiring to become a doctor. This in addition to having a bunch of younger relatives has led to Bo becoming an ideal math tutor for many of the students here. In his free time, Mr. Bo enjoys playing chess, listening to music, working out, and video games.

Steve Mintz

Instructor
Mr. Steve grew up in New York and studied computer science and math in undergraduate school. He moved to Atlanta in the mid 80’s for the sunshine and friendly people, which is where he met his wife Connie. They currently reside in Alpharetta, and love living in the metro area!

Nick Cammack

Instructor
Meet Nick. He is a graduate from the University of North Georgia with a Bachelor's of Science in Criminal Justice and he is currently working on getting a masters degree in criminal justice from Georgia State University, with the hopes of being able to teach in a college classroom one day. When Nick is not at Mathnasium, he is usually working at his other job, bartending at Rina in Avalon. For the few hours that Nick does not work, he is either spending his time practicing dodgeball or at home gaming with his friends.

Zain Joudeh

Instructor
Zain has been working with us since September 2023. She is a student at Georgia State University working to get her Middle Level Education degree. During her free time she’s either reading, playing Minecraft, or writing her fantasy debut.

Doug Handler

Instructor
Doug Handler recently retired from a corporate career as an Economist, moving from Boston to the Atlanta area in the process. Doug says that working at Mathnasium provides him with a great opportunity to work with a lot of great kids of all ages, and to pass along skills that have helped him in his academic and professional careers. Doug also teaches economics at a nearby technical college. His hobbies include hanging out with his new grandchild and playing pickleball.

Ron Jones Jr

Instructor
My name is Ron, and I love to learn. Math is my favorite subject but I take that attitude into everything I do. I am a computer scientist who develops mobile apps for corporations as well as personally for my own company. I also write and perform poetry and am an avid basketball player. I played in college and built ATH, the #1 pickup Basketball App!

Drew Moyer

Director of Operations
Drew was hired as an instructor at Mathnasium of Hancock Park in Los Angeles in 2013. Two years later, he relocated to Georgia to become the Center Director of our South Forsyth location, and was transferred to our Johns Creek location in 2020. In 2022, he became the Director of Operations, overseeing all four of our centers. He feels humbled to be able to help each center and their directors, and loves the positive impact we are able to make in the lives of of our students. Drew and his wife, Larissa, live in Alpharetta and enjoy caring for their dog, two cats, and a turtle. In his spare time, he enjoys running, reading, writing, playing tennis, and playing the guitar.

Holly Lee

Owner
Holly graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She spent over seven years in several consulting, logistics and IT management roles with Arthur Anderson, UPS, and Cendian. In her career, Holly found the problem solving and analytical skills she developed through her Math education to be the foundation for her success. She loves to influence and enrich the lives of children through nurturing a passion and appreciation for math. Holly and Chris opened their first Mathnasium location in September 2005 and have helped thousands of children in the North Atlanta area increase both their math abilities and confidence through math homework help. Holly and Chris are the proud parents of three children, Aubrey, Faith and Hudson. All three children started attending Mathnasium from the time they could read and have grown up learning the Mathnasium Method and excelling in math at school. Holly and Chris enjoy leading couple's small group leaders at their church, North Point Community Church. In addition to her role with Mathnasium, Holly stays busy volunteering in many capacities in her children's athletics and activities.

Chris Lee

Owner/ General Manager
Chris graduated from The Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering in 1996. Upon graduation, Chris spent six years in the Atlanta electronics industry. He headed back to Georgia Tech in 2002, where he went on to earn his Master's in Business Administration. Chris's main passion in life is teaching children, as exemplified in his roles as a Math Tutor, Swim, baseball, softball, and basketball coach and Sunday school teacher. Chris has played a key role in setting the strategic direction of Mathnasium HQ since opening his first center in 2005. He has been a part of the leading franchisee committee since 2010 and plays an instrumental part in curriculum development. Chris and his wife, Holly, have three children, Aubrey (19) , Faith (17) and Hudson (15) who all started attending Mathnasium at the age of six and want to enter a STEM field upon graduation from college.
