    Mathnasium of Short Pump provides premium value through a flat monthly membership and a one-time enrollment fee.  

    Most students attend two to three times per week. After a diagnostic assessment, we design a personalized learning plan with recommended session frequency based on your child’s goals.

  • Is there a difference between the cost of online and in-center math tutoring at Mathnasium of Short Pump?

    No. The cost is the same whether your student attends sessions online, in person, or through a hybrid approach.

  • Why do you require an assessment for enrollment?

    The purpose of the diagnostic assessment is to provide insight into the student’s current skill level, learning style, and unique goals. We use these insights to create a learning plan tailored to their specific needs, so they can truly understand math and build the skills they need to advance.

    At Mathnasium of Short Pump, we don’t use a fixed curriculum. Instead, we use the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary teaching approach that combines personalized learning plans with proven instructional strategies. 

    Building upon what the student already knows, we add new concepts gradually, breaking them down into manageable steps to fill in their knowledge gaps, develop solid foundational skills, and even transform how they think and feel about math.

    Yes. We work with students at all skill levels, whether they are looking to catch up, keep up, or get ahead on their math journey.
