Welcome to Mathnasium of South Baton Rouge

When we committed to going to Mathnasium, we did it not thinking that it would be as empowering as it has been. I just enrolled my second child in the program.

The place accommodates my daughter's needs of school work and coordinates with her math teacher to better her academic performance at school, plus it has own assessment on her math level periodically to design a plan to fill any knowledge holes she had and track her progress along the way. For children struggle with math at school, this is a good place to be.

Our granddaughter’s math skills have improved along with her working more independently doing her school work. Ellen is very knowledgeable and gives us feedback on Camille’s progress. Ellen is also very friendly.

I have seen an improvement in my daughter's math skills. However, sometimes she needs a little more focus on what's she's working on in school and that simply isn't the format of Mathnasium.

You are patient and understanding because my child has problems concentrating and is a poor math student. She does not enjoy math but looks forward to her tutoring sessions.

Nylas grades are improving and she loves the tutors!

I like the progress report, but I also would like them to move up to the next level whenever it fits.

Nyla is still struggling with math but I believe when we get her meds issues straightened out we will begin to see progress. She did better this summer because she could take her meds just before starting her tutoring session. Be patient with us while we work through her current issues.

We love mathnasium! Our son went from disliking math (because he didn’t understand) to loving it. He also loves the environment at mathnasium. We love being a part of the mathnasium family and we highly recommend it to all of our friends and family.

Mathnasium is helping Haley fill in the gaps in her math education, but I do wish she had more help understanding the concepts she is currently studying. Her grades are still lagging in math.
