Yetunde Adegoju is a highly experienced and accomplished educator currently serving as Mathnasium Airdrie's co-owner and Centre Director. With a solid educational background and a wealth of teaching experience, Yetunde is dedicated to providing students with a solid foundation in mathematics and helping them achieve their full potential. Yetunde's educational journey began with a Master's in Biochemistry, which provided her with a solid scientific background. She further honed her teaching skills by obtaining a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, equipping her with the tools to impart knowledge to students effectively. With over 15 years of teaching experience, Yetunde has developed a deep understanding of various teaching methodologies and approaches.
Her expertise lies in mathematics and science, and she has previously served as a mathematics instructor in a specialized school in the United Kingdom. This experience has allowed her to work with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities, enabling her to tailor her teaching methods to suit individual learning styles. In addition to her teaching career, Yetunde has also worked as a child counsellor in CASA, Alberta. This role has provided her valuable insights into students' emotional and psychological well-being, allowing her to create a supportive and nurturing learning environment.
Yetunde's passion for mathematics and commitment to student success is evident in her teaching approach. She believes in fostering a love for the subject by making it engaging, relatable, and accessible to all students. Her patient and supportive nature creates a safe space for students to ask questions, seek clarification, and develop a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts. Her commitment to providing students with a strong foundation in mathematics and her nurturing and supportive approach made her and her husband establish Mathnasium Airdrie in 2017. She currently volunteers in various groups within the community. Married and blessed with a daughter.
Sumathi is a dedicated and accomplished mathematics educator. She holds an M.Phil. in Mathematics, for which she was awarded a prestigious gold medal. With a passion for academic excellence, she plans to pursue her PhD to deepen her knowledge further and contribute to the field of mathematics.
Her approach to teaching emphasizes holistic student development. She aims to nurture not only academic skills but also personal growth and confidence in her students. Sumathi enjoys creating a supportive and engaging learning environment, guiding students to master mathematics through innovative techniques and personalized support.

Funmi Agunlejika is a highly skilled and experienced instructor at SAIT. With a strong educational background and a genuine passion for teaching, Funmi has dedicated her career to inspiring and educating students in the field of engineering. Having spent many years as an instructor, Funmi has honed her teaching skills and developed a deep understanding of various instructional methods. She has a natural ability to connect with students of all ages, particularly those in elementary and middle grades. Funmi's love for working with elementary and middle-grade students stems from her belief in the importance of building a strong foundation in STEM subjects from an early age. She understands that these formative years are crucial for sparking curiosity and nurturing a passion for engineering and technology.
Owen Stevenson is a dedicated and accomplished individual passionate about mathematics and teaching. He has set his sights on pursuing a dual degree in Kinesiology and Commerce at the prestigious University of Calgary. Having successfully completed Math 31, Owen possesses a solid understanding of advanced mathematical concepts. His exceptional problem-solving skills and analytical mindset make him an ideal candidate for guiding students through various mathematical challenges. Owen's passion for teaching and his love for mathematics led him to join Mathnasium as a Math Instructor. He is committed to helping students develop a strong foundation in math and empowering them to excel in the subject. Outside of his role as a Math Instructor, Owen enjoys staying active and participating in various sports and physical activities.
Sanjana is a dedicated and passionate individual with a Master of Science in Physics and a minor in Mathematics. Her academic journey reflects a strong foundation in scientific principles and analytical thinking, complemented by her commitment to education and community service.
Throughout her career, Sanjana has actively participated in building libraries and organizing science classes for underprivileged children. Her efforts aim to inspire young minds and provide them with the resources and knowledge to pursue their academic interests. Sanjana believes in the transformative power of education and works tirelessly to ensure every child has access to learning opportunities.
With a combination of her scientific expertise, Sanjana is a valuable asset to students at Mathnasium Airdrie.
Arnav is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering. He consistently excelled academically, maintaining a position at the top of his class throughout high school.
Actively volunteered in various groups, demonstrating a strong commitment to community service.
He held leadership roles in several organizations, fostering teamwork, resilience, and effective peer communication.
Arnav is a motivated and dedicated individual who is passionate about engineering and community engagement. His commitment to excellence and leadership sets a strong foundation for a successful career in the engineering field.
Preeti holds Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) and Postgraduate Degree in Mathematics. She has taught mathematics across various educational settings in the United States, Canada, and Asia. Her diverse experiences enable her to employ a range of teaching methodologies, making math comprehensible and enjoyable for students of all backgrounds.
As a dedicated volunteer math teacher at YMCA, Preeti has been involved in community programs aimed at improving math literacy among youth. She creates engaging lesson plans and activities to inspire students to appreciate and excel in mathematics. She has passion for mentoring and guiding students to reach their full potential in mathematics
